Less Than Expected
Bought this because I always wanted one and to install a security bar on a rear garage door. It required 8 3" screws. I drilled pilot holes as far as the bit would go - about 2.5 inches. Worked great until I hit the last half inch then did nothing. I finished using my old, but lightly used, 18 volt Dewalt drill which did a better job.
Perfect gift for a new do-it-yourselfer.
Would RecommendThis impact driver has the strength and speed to thouroughly tighten galvanized bolts on a fence. It also is great for drilling into wolmanized wood. This was a gift for my son. He was able to quickly complete two unrelated tasks once he received the gift.

Would RecommendI have been holding off on getting one of these because I have multiple cordless drills, but after stripping out one too many screw heads, I finally broke down and bought one. The result, I love it. Been doing some remodeling and have yet to strip a single screw. Well worth it if you ask me.
It is a bit loud when in “impact mode”.
Would RecommendIt’s solid, compact, powerful, and has a great feel. The variable speed also works great.
