What Customers Are Saying
The planer produces smooth, high-quality finishes on various woods and is praised for its power, ease of use, and dust collection. However, some users have experienced reliability issues, including motors burning out, blades dulling quickly, and feed problems. While some were able to get their units repaired or replaced, others were disappointed with the customer service. Overall, the planer works well for many, but there are enough reports of quality control and durability problems to suggest potential issues.

Great features at a solid price point
Would RecommendI bought this a couple months ago to build a book shelf with. Learning to use it was pretty straight forward there are some great tutorials out there. Overall this is a great tool and I would buy it again. I did have an issue with clearing debris even with a powerful vacuum attached, however to be fair i was removing a lot of material.

Disappointing planer cheaply made.
Only had the 735 for about 1-1/2 years and have had nothing but trouble with it. The chain jumped the sprocket and that prevented raising or lowering the planer. Supposedly under a 3 year warranty? Took the hood off to look inside and saw the small pulley without the chain on it. Two small screws hold the sprocket on. The sprocket appears to be fiber while the 4 corners are steel. There is lots of slop in the fiber/nylon sprocket. Very cheaply made planer. Very disappointed in this piece...

Nice Planer
Would RecommendPurchased this 735X and it works great. Only complaint is the dust port/hose gets in the way. Quick fix was installing a 90 dust collector fitting.

Very easy to install, lasts a long time
Would RecommendPerfect fit, easy to install -- I'm new to tabletop planers and these have registration holes to ensure they're in the exact correct position and it's foolproof. I appreciate that they were designed so that you can flip them before needing to order a replacement set. I'm cutting mostly spruce and fir so they last an incredibly long time before needing to flip them.
Glue is glue
Would RecommendNo longer keep them in stock in house.

Product was good but was not received at the order desk. Received an Insinkerator garbage disposal. Employees took care of the mix up.

Hello Valued Customer. I appreciate your feedback. I would like to speak to you about the experience you had with the DW7352 DEWALT Planer Knives. ...
Must have spares
Would RecommendThe Dewalt planer blades work well and easy to install. They are very sharp out of the box. They do last a while depending on the type of wood. Of course they will dull with use and more so with hard wood such as maple. I've run hundreds of board feet with one set, but you do need to check for staples and debris. If you do get a chip, just slide one blade over. You can do again before flipping the blades to other side. I've thought of getting a more expensive blade set, but they will pro...
