Awesome warranty

I've had this saw for 2 years. Used it quite a lot, excellent saw. Last week something inside sparked and it quit working. I sent it in for repairs. Today a brand new saw arrived, no charge! How awesome to have a company that actually stands by their warranty!

Awesome tool

I used it on an all day project and the saw worked great. I am so glad I got it.

excellent and powerful tool

I was impressed by how fast it works and powerful. I am a woman and with not too much effort was able to cut through wood and odd jobs at home!!

Works good for demolition

Just purchased today, and used it all afternoon demolishing an old shed. Seems to get pretty hot sometimes, could be holding it wrong, covering vents, but works well. So far, so good.

Dewalt reciprocating saw

Worked like a dream. I would recommend this reciprocating saw.

Very touchy trigger, and heavy.

I wore out a cheap B&D saw; overwork killed it. I wanted a well built tool. I got one in this saw. It is HEAVY after using the cordless B&D, and the blade is loose in the clamp mechanism. Put a good blade in it and it will definitely cut with authority. Now if it will just last....

Sloppy and Loose Shaft

Reputable brand and OK price so I figgured I would try it. Within a day of starting to use it to cut wood with nails and screws in it, the blade started to wobble. The shaft and the blade holder became very loose and sloppy where it was not cutting properly and it had problems holding the blade. NEVER had that problem for 25+ years with my old Craftsman that finally died. I guess reputation and reliability aren't what they used to be. I did return it to the store, but I still need a reciproc...

Great Saw

does it all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i've cut through just about everything with this. tree branches, tubs, metal pipes, everything. use the right blade, of course. easy to install or change the blades and they lock in securely with no fuss. blades can also be mounted for downward cuts or sideways cuts.

Great saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw with a particular project in mind, but since receiving it I have found multiple uses for it. It is a real workhorse that so far has tackled everyhting I've thrown at it.

Great saw

I totally recommend this saw for many uses. I needed to trim palm tree branches and it worked great. Cut my time in half.

Wow, what a nice saw; light weight and comfortable to handle! Easy to change blades and very powerful.

Not the smoothest reciprocating saw

The blade wobbles over 1/4" in the vertical and horizontal direction. With the lever blade system there seems to be no set screw to tighten the blade. Other companies restrict the wobble to a 1/16" to 1/8" tolerance. The saw has excellent power so when starting a cut, especially in metal, the wobble makes it a challenge to hit the mark.

outstanding product! as expected this saw worked great. easy change the blades just adds to the user-friendly product. 12 amp motor has more then enough power. this was what i was looking for!

Works great and handles very well

I cut out a metal tub and it made the job very easy, the metal blades (Dewalt brand) did not last at all went thru 2 before the job was done.

This is a wonderful piece of equipment that gets the job done.
