not worth the money

Sucks couldnt do anything allsay waiting for it to dry

Either old product or trash

Product is very brittle, does not hold up to any molding for dry wall hole repair. Very dry product, horrible to say the least. Trashy product, would not recommend.

Very good compound

This is a really good compound as it dries very fast. However I haven’t found big buckets just this small ones.

Only good for specific repairs, not fast dry

This stuff does not dry in 15 minutes, not even close. Took 2 to 3 hours to dry enough to apply second coat. Dont waste your money, just buy the pink stuff, it dries faster than this “fast dry”. Also, it wont stick to some repair surfaces because of its low moisture content.

Absolute garbage

So I noticed all the reviews were collected as part of a promotion. So here's one that wasn't. Holy cow. This stuff will wind up on the ground instead of the wall. Everything falls off. It's chalky and can't be applied with a putty knife. Don't waste your money.

Dries fast

The Dap Fast dry dries fast and hold up really good after it dries. Easy to fill almost any project that needs filling. The Dap is not hard to sand either.

It take hours to dry to sand it!!!

Very disappointed. Very hard to apply, it's almost sand and water, it falls and never, never, never dries!!!! It took more than 4 hours to dry and have it ready to sand it. The instructions says "if sanding is necessary, additional dry time it may be needed" THEY SHOULD WRITE THAT YOU NEED HOURS!

Easy to use.

Easy to use, looks good and easy to paint after application

Very good product to work with.

I can not yet know how long lasting it is, but is did smooth out the holes I needed to cover and it did dry quickly with no shrinkage or cracking. It also took the paint covering very well.

plaster patch

Material did a good job of patching my plaster where a roof leak had damaged it.

Don’t be deceived by reviews for smaller size

Only the smaller size had reviews which were mostly good. So I purchased this for a wall repair (rewiring in laundry room). On opening, it’s dry and crumbly. Label says to stir it so I did which is very difficult when it’s so dry on top. After stiring I applied and wow! Dry and goes on draggy, hard to smooth because any attempt to work it pulls off the first swipe. And doesn’t dry in 30 minutes. The Spackling to end all jobs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off the container is difficult to get open and not as easy as I thought it would be. Once open the spackle was drier than I was expecting. When applying to the hole in the wall, the dryness allowed it to stay in place and was much easier to apply. Application of the product was smooth and easy to spread filling the hole fully.

Fast Daps & No Boyfriend needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to dap fast dry formula it's just as easy as it sounds! Dap it on the wall and watch it dry fast easy like 1-2-3! Literally will be dry around 15 minutes. I did not need my bf to help me with this. Hehe

Good. If you like spackling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, this is spackling. Spackling is usually used to fixing small holes like nail holes. This works well for those small holes. This spackling says it is good to large repairs. I wouldn't quite say that. Even after packing a larger hole, the spackling didn't stick to itself very well. I was able to fill the hole after packing lots of it into the hole. It does dry quickly, though.

Does the Job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied the product on some minor hole damage to our bedroom door. Easy application with the right tools. Dried well and after sanding the holes were unnoticeable.

Buildable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kind of a crumbly texture, which makes for a little messier repair. I'm used to a more creamy textured spackle. It does have a quick dry time and is able to be built on.
