No Mud or Spackle Required - Apply and Paint

Use without needing mud or spackle. Good concept for smaller holes needing repair. Thanks, Lowes, for offering this option!

This product worked perfectly! I'm so glad I purchased this product. The option to have no sanding or spackling first appealed to me. Then, I noticed how thin the product is, and I was hooked. I followed the instructions exactly and the finished result is flawless! Rarely does a product work as described, but this one does.

Large Marked Size is not all it seems

They looked wonderful, but their prominent marked size (4"x4") does not reflect the size hole that they can cover (2"-3" square). This smaller size was noted on packaging, but a bit easy to miss.

I'm in love!!!

We had lighting installed that required new wiring in the ceiling. We were left with 8 holes to be repaired. The holes were 1" to 3" in diameter. I came across this product and it was the perfect solution. I followed the directions and it worked exactly as stated. Only one hole didn't come out perfectly smooth but I also had a difficult time reaching the hole, so I think my stretched effort was the reason for the less than perfect layout. Still see the patch

I’m disappointed. I used several of these after I removed an old stair railing from a wall in my home. I used these to patch up spots the rail was screwed into the wall. I wish I had repaired the wall instead. I see these patches even under several coats of paint. It is a large wall, so very disappointed to see these patches on the wall. I won’t be using these again in the future.

Didn’t work

I followed the directions, but the patch didn’t stick very well and seemed fragile even after three coats of paint — not the “2x as strong as drywall” like the package said. I felt like I could have done as well with packing tape. Back to the mesh patch and mud.

Okay Patch Depends on Lighting

The patch goes on well and seems solid. Unfortunately, under certain lighting, the patch is very obvious. Since this will be in a bright bathroom, it might be easy to see the patch depending on how the lighting works out. It was still clearly visible through 3 coats of paint. After 5 coats it looks good, but the outline is still visible sometimes. Use this product with caution. I wish I had done a California patch instead. Skeptical Until I Used It

We uninstalled the old doorbell system which left a small 1 inch hole in the wall. My spackling skills are not that great especially on holes. We decided to try the small stickers. Terrible product

As others have indicated, the product is a glorified, thick sticker whose outline can be easily seen, even after SEVERAL coats of paint. Since it was a small repair area, I used a brush and applied five coats of paint, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next coat. If they expect customers to always use a roller (which is totally impractical for small repairs) that should be in BOLD print, along with the instruction that their product WILL NOT WORK if you use anything but a roller. Pure genius!!

Whoever developed this is a genius. This saved me so much time and mess. My wife didn't like the 12 inch deep Closet Maid shelving the builder installed in our laundry room and we decided to replace them with 16 inch deep Roth & Allen vented wood shelves.
