What a waste of money

Bought the 6 inch and 4 inch (2 separate holes to cover) and followed instructions of placement. The first thing I noticed is it didn't stick well following painting. When I pulled the tab, the tab itself ripped off and didn't pull the remaining protective layer. So, I'm stuck. I ended up painting over the rest of the patch. Do not use!!

Worked on interior hollow door perfectly

We had a small hole about 2inches round in our interior door. I used this product just as instructions said painted over it and now we are back to a perfect door. No one can even tell there was ever a hole in the door. Great product but pricey.

not a professional fix

if you dont want to properly repair the hole by cutting and replacing the sheetrock or mesh and spackle this is for you it looks like a quick fix for a big problem although think about it you cant mount anything over that hole now. over expecting reviews on some of these. a quick fix to save money thats exactly what it does

Great product

Instead of paying someone a 1,000 dollars to come repair a small hole I spent 13 dollars on this. And it looks so great. You can’t even tell where the hole was

Not Sure How To Fix

Worked great last summer! But the winter temperature changes have created a bubble. This was a linear crack. Not sure what to do to fix it. Any ideas? TIA

Meh

While fairly easy to apply, the result was less than stellar. I used one 6 inch and one 4 inch patch in different places. The patch edges are clearly visible even after excellent quality primer and paint (two coats each), and the centres seem to bulge somewhat. While usable in a pinch, these are no replacement if you want a nice result.

Not great

It covers holes in the wall, but even after painting you can still see the outline of this patch. Also, It is a "soft" cover. I would rather spackle over the metal plate type of patch.

Great product

Easy product to use for repairing drywall damage in house

Didn't serve my purpose...

I bought this product to 'test' its adherence as a wall patch. This patch should work for simpler patch-work, but sadly not for me

Disapointed

Followed the directions and looking good. When I pulled the pop-up tab layer, and it pulled the entire patch from the drywall. I tried to put the patch back on but the sticky was enough to hold. Left me with a bigger problem.

Fantastic product!

I used two 6 inch Eclipse patches to repair a water damaged ceiling. The repair was quick, easy and there was no spackle mess to clean up or days waiting for spackle coats to dry and sand! Just apply the patch and paint! Will definitely use this again! Amazing product! Thanks, Dap!

Works but not completely invisible.

Great idea for out of the way repairs but not for visible areas. Even after applying 3 coats of paint, I could still see faint outline of patch. Another coat of paint might have resolved the issue. Primary advantage is you can complete the repair in a few hours without sanding or waiting on sheetrock mud to dry. Cons: 1) Cleaning paint brush 3 times 2) Not sure it will work on advertised maximum hole size because it did not feel as solid as I would have liked. 3)Noticeable outline. Wife sai...

I hope it’ll work well, got it on sale for a great deal and it’ll probably be handy if I need it
