DAP Concrete Sealant

The DAP needs to be shaken. It doesn’t self level as well as one might think. Have a scraper available to level out manually. Takes several days to really firm up. Seems to shed water and seal well. A lot of the product remains in the bottle, due to Joe thick it is. May have to set the container upside down to get as much as possible out of it. Would be better to have a container that uses a caulk gun.

Great Product

I am very happy with the DAP concrete patch. It was easy to use. I used the concrete patch with backer rod to fill some seams in the concrete between garage and driveway. There was no mess to clean up and it worked great.

Difficult to apply

Product is not easy to apply in the squeeze bottle format. Product is too thick for the pour spout

Not Self Leveling

Bought this to fill numerous cracks in a basement slab. The cracks ranged from 1/16" to 1/8" in width. The material is easy to apply and use. However, it really isn't self leveling at all. It is simply to thick to be self leveling. I carefully squeezed it into the cracks so as to avoid an unsightly repair. Rather than settle into the crack, the filler partially rests above the surface unless you can get the nozzle completely into the crack. Had to tool the filler into all the cracks with a putty...

Amazing for prepping concrete subfloor

I'm preparing to put in LVP flooring and used this stuff to patch the holes left by tack strips from the old carpet. This stuff performed way beyond my expectations. It is very easy to work with using a 12 inch trowel and putty knife. Very simple to squeeze it into holes, level out, and keep going. I've been letting it cure for 24-48 hours before leveling off excess or topping up small dips. Color

Wanted to patch cracks and fill small chipped off spots in my driveway, sidewalk and concrete siding of the house. After it cured the color of this product doesn’t match anything I applied to. Now I have discolored patches all over.

DAP concrete joint filler

First time I have used any product like this, worked fine. Flows with scarcely any squeezing. Shrunk a little on drying but did what it was supposed to.

pourable caulk

neat pour able joint caulk, slowly self leveling, dries kinda of slow but fills and levels far better than caulking tubes. I back filled some deep and wide cracks with playbox sand and left about 1/2" area to let caulk pour and self level. Dries smooth and medium to lighter color. I highly recommend it for the best product for the job.

This stuff is more like glue. Rubbery when it dries and nothing like cement like they make it seem.

Turns black! Do not buy!

Filled cracks in concrete driveway and they turned black! Reached out to DAP they were no help but offered a refund. I don’t want a refund, I don’t want black cracks on my driveway! Thanks Frank

Not worth the effort

Bought it to fill some small cracks in my basement floor and liked the self-leveling feature. Unfortunately, the product wouldn’t flow from the bottle. I even removed the cap and it still wouldn’t flow. Squeezing the bottle didn’t help either. Finally returned it for a full refund.

Product went solid as soon as I opened it, before I could use all the product.

Cracker Filler

This was so watery. I used it to see if maybe it thickened up as it dried. It was absolutely horrible. I returned it to the store.

Much thicker than Sakrete concrete crack filler. Went to buy more but Lowe’s was out and tried Sakrete, Sakrete was cheaper but very liquidity, this DAP product was much better and would recommend.
