This stuff is awful!!! We have used this kind of product in the past with great results. But this stuff is horrible. It's supposed to dry in 30 min. or so. Well we went back 2 DAYS later to roll paint over the sprayed area and it started to come off on the roller. What a mess. Such a waste of money.

Waste of time and money

I have always used the DAP brand for other products they offer and when I needed to patch some popcorn ceiling areas I was very happy to see they made a spray. First thing I noticed was it was priced quite a bit higher than the other products on the market and I assumed this was because it actually worked unlike the other brands. Well I was very disappointed when I went to use it. First all the reviews I have seen say you need to shake it ALOT. I did this till I could hear the ball rattling cons...

Product came out like mayonnaise....

Per the directions, shook can for 3 minutes (directions say one minute) inverted, and even ran can in warm water for a minute. Ambient temperature was 70 in the house. At first, lot of propellant and not a lot of "popcorn", then as the propellant was running out, product oozed out like mayonnaise.... Will scrape it off, and try competitors product

This stuff sucks

4 cans couldn't satisfactorily cover a 14" by 12' patch. Unhappy customer. No help from the service desk as far as any reimbursement either.

Terrible product

I bought it from Lowes. This product is disappointing. The sprayer seems clogged and won’t spray properly. Additionally, the texture appears unattractive, and it doesn’t even cover a 3x3-foot area. I recommend avoiding it.

Wasted $30. I needed to repair a 2 Sq. Ft. Section of ceiling. I read the directions and followed the instructions then tested outside, it was runny. I then shook the can an additional 2 minutes and tested again with ok results. I then proceeded to spray onto the ceiling and the product came out as a foam with most ending up on the floor, very thankful I put down a drop cloth. I repeatedly cleaned the tip and flushed the nozzle by spraying with can upside down but my results continued to get wor...

What a mess

I bought this to patch up some cracking/peeling popcorn ceiling. I'll tell ya, it was a huge mess and didn't give me the needed results. I shook the can for more than a minute, upside down. When I pulled the trigger, it squirted a foam-like substance. Didn't look like a popcorn ceiling. NOTE: after looking at a few videos, one person said that you should make sure the can is warm before using it. This person set the can in a bucket of warm water.
