worst product i ever used for knockdown. im so sick of being screwed over buying a product is why im leaving a review. the customer service tech said to use water and wait 1 to 2 minuts. thats a lie, because the product reacts the same with or with out water. it flakes off when using putty knife.

Disappointed with the Trigger

The finish turned out okay, but the trigger mechanism was very awkward to pull and made it hard to direct the spray where I wanted it. Also, there was significant dripping onto my hand from the nozzle despite shaking it very well.

Holy wow, I don't even know where to begin. Paying $25-30 for a can of spray texture is already robbery. Then you actually try to use it, this is straight up theft. First off, the spray velocity is so high that you end up plastering the wall unless you set it to fine and go in micro bursts. Second, 3/4 of the can end up on the floor. You have to walk around holding sometjing under the nozzle to catch it all, and wipe the nozzle after every spray. I only bought this because it was literally the...

Not so hot!

I had high expectations for this DAP product. I was thoroughly disappointed. Once you've sprayed an area with the DAP popcorn spray, matching the original ceiling, as it dries the texture shrinks considerably. Even with repeated applications, you are left to an almost flat, minimal texture eye sore.

Awful! I cannot recommend this product. One can barely covered a 4 sq ft section on the lowest setting. I am very disappointed because it did not give an orange peel texture, it just sprayed all over and clogged itself on the nozzle. I expected to be able to cover my project area with 3 cans, but at the rate this was going it would have taken 30. I followed the directions on preparation and holding the appropriate distance and it was still a disaster.

I followed the instructions to a tee, the surface was properly prepped, and I let it fully dry before painting. When I tried to paint it the texture would turn into a powder and would wipe right off. By the time I was finished painting I had zero texture.

Followed directions precisely. It sprayed on ok. Let it dry for 24 hours but when I went to paint the area the texture was literally like a powder on the wall, the paint brush removed all the texture. Yes I shook the can as directed, even longer. Wasted my $$$

terrible product

Wish I would have read reviews before purchasing but saw in store and decided to purchase. Bought 2 cans, followed instructions. 1 can clogged after a few min and I tried everything to unclog it. No luck. Used the 2nd can but it dripped so much it was dripping more then it was spraying as well as having more of the product on me then on the ceiling. Don't waste your money.

Didn’t do what it should

Unfortunately for me either I got a bad can of this or it just doesn’t work. 2/3 landed on the floor, as it would not spray upward more the about 6-8 inches, and much of it just fell over the side of the can. I did shake it for 5-6 minutes knowing it needed to mixed well before spraying. The last time I fixed a popcorn ceiling was over 25 years ago and that worked great.
