I used this on stucco with a texture roller after applying it smooth to surface then rolled over wet elasto with that texture it gave you time to blend it. Would recommend. Great product.

Great to seal the bottom raw edge of siding on dormers.

Had to replace the siding on my dormers because the bottom of the boards started rotting because rain splashes off the roof and wets the bottom of the boards...a regular coat of paint was not enough. I coated the bottom of each board with DAP ElastoPatch (previously Custom Building Products Elastomeric Custom Patch). Then I put a good coat of paint over the ElastoPatch. Best patch I've ever used

Goes on smooth, excellent adherence. I wish I'd found this 50 years ago. Other patches have been from fair to very good but this one is excellent. Bonus for us but doesn't count toward the rating. It exactly matches our white paint, didn't expect that considering that there are hundreds of white paint shades. OK, I have one complaint. I wish it was available in a smaller container.

Amazing crack filler!!

Used it to fill some hairline cracks in my condo walls from foundation movement. I'm far from a professional and Its amazing how it fills so precisely its almost magical!! Easily smooths over with puffy knife after application. Very easy to use and results have been spectacular especially after painting. Works ok, with caveats

I used the product to fill ceiling cracks, first widening the application area to about 1/16 to1/8". Product went on well but there was significant shrinkage by the time it had set. It is sandable - after a few days. I ended up doing about 3 applications before the patch was level. I do recommend it but there is a bit of additional time and work required.

Not sandable, invisible repair

You get one chance to apply this correctly. Its got the gooey, sticky consistency of caulk; nothing like any “patching compound” I’ve ever seen. Its sold in with the drywall patching priducts. I bought it, thinking it was a more flexible drywall mud, to repair a seam that repeatedly cracked. I already had caulk.

Good only for one thing

This should not be called "PATCH" because the label makes it clear it is for CRACKS only. It should be labeled instead, 'tub of caulk' . I can see it being useful for when you would prefer to apply caulk with a putty knife, to scrape across a corner or something like that.

On Shelf Too Long

I've used this in the past...great stuff. But what Lowes sent me had been on the shelf too long. I was able to dip into and use the material in the center but much of the outer material had started to solidify and is not usable.

can't be sanded

you can not sand, not good for cracked walls, if you want it smooth .

Cannot sand this product

I have old plaster walls and thought this would be good for the cracks before paining. It shrinks a lot and you have to refill the crack to the point that are bumping up a little. And then the worst part. You can't sand it. That information is in small blurry type on the back. I had to remove it making the cracks bigger. This needs to say non-sandable on the front. $12 in the trash and more and worse work.

trying it

Today, I put some on a leaky patio. It was easy to apply, and had a good working time. Much cheaper that flexseal.

This seems to worksimilar to Back Jack Roof Patch.

This seems to work similar to Back Jack Roof Patch Elastic Crack Sealer & Repair (Lowes Item 139933).

Waste of my money

1 star because 0 stars is not a choice. This is supposed to set in 60 minutes … NOT! I let it set 24 hours and it still was not set, fortunately I was still able to remove it with water. This is not supposed to crumble… NOT! Made a total mess - I have white crumblies allll over! Does NOT apply smoothly, with a trowel, or even my fingers!!!!! Rating: boooooooooo thumbs down
