Would RecommendThis is a really cool toaster. Like the special bagel setting. It toasts buns and bagels so they are only toasted on the inside and the outside is still soft. Even my husband said that's a game changer! Haven't tried it past a level 5 setting; that seems dark enough. Love the looks of it as well and the size. We got the two slice since it takes up less counter space.

Not hot enough
Would Not RecommendI love the design, features, and operation of this, yet it fails to perform its main function - toasting. It will not brown an English muffin even slightly on the highest setting, and doing two cycles just gets it okay, not how I like it with little burnt tips. I've tried it on both regular and bagel settings to no avail, they need an English Muffin setting with more heat!

Would RecommendMakes great toast. Price is on the high end but you get what you pay for. Would do it again. We had the Four slice model for a number of years with out problems. We have down so far my daughter and family continue to enjoy the old one.

Would Recommendi was a bit skeptical buying another Cuisinart toaster after my last one only lasted a little over a year. the Touch to Toast toaster does a descent job. finding the right darkness setting takes a little work depending on the thickness of the bread you are toasting, so it's a bit of trial and error. the auto lowering feature is nice and i like the count down timer and alert. over all it does a decent job

Would Not Recommendoverall good toasting and like the controls but I have noticed that slices can get caught on the inside of the toaster opening which causes the toast to not lift all the way up and leaves you with a bent piece of toast
