What Customers Are Saying
The pruning saw is praised for its sharp, durable blade that can effortlessly cut through thick branches and wood up to 4-5 inches. The ergonomic handle provides a comfortable and secure grip, reducing user fatigue. Reviewers report the saw requires less effort compared to other pruning saws, with the curved blade design allowing deeper cuts on the pull stroke. While some found it slightly difficult to use initially, most agree it becomes very easy to handle with practice. Overall, the saw is considered a great value purchase for its quality, performance, and versatility in yard and garden tasks.

Would Not RecommendOver the last 20 years I have purchased perhaps dozens of these. The conclusion is that they get the job done. The reason I have purchased so many is that they do not hold an edge well and to my knowledge no one sharpens them. Also, after just an hour or two of use the screws fall out. Best to buy a box of cotter pins to save the inevitable headaches.

So far so good
Would RecommendThis saw works excellently for pruning palm tree trunks and fronds. I have a canary date palm that I used the Corona razor tooth on. The 18 inches was just what I needed to keep my hands/arms away from piercing palm needles. Cut throw very nicely.

Great Pruning Saw
Would RecommendOver the years I have purchased perhaps 15 - 20 Corona pruning saws like this. Initially they cut very well. Light weight, durable. After just a few hours the screws loosen up and even fall out if not tightened. Routinely I replace them with cotter pins and keep on going. After a few hours they lose their cutting edge. $25 seems a lot for a new saw. Too bad they can not routinely be resharpened. I do not know of anyone who commercially does this any more. Later I use them for trimming v...

9" Aspen, 30 feet tall
Would RecommendSpent $25 on this saw to cut down a huge Aspen tree in our front yard instead of paying someone $150 to do it. It was also a good workout cutting it up into smaller logs.

works great
Would RecommendThere are some jobs where a chainsaw isn't the best idea. This is a good sharp handsaw that I feel is a safer way to trim the trees from a ladder. I own a similar saw by Corona, but simply wore it out from use. The new one seems to be sharper and the handle is easier to grip than the wooden handle on the old one. Worth the money.

As described
Would RecommendGood pruning saw. Lightweight, but has enough "oomph" to get the job done. Very sharp. Mainly using to cut mesquite, not the softest wood, and it has no trouble going through. Haven't had it long, so will reserve judgement on longevity, but have one purchased several years ago that is still going just as well as the day bought, just needed a second work to have for extra hands.
