When I say sharp I would advise being careful when the blade is open. This saw is perfect for trimming limbs dead or alive making clean cuts very quickly. Would RecommendIf you’re old and your kids think that you will cut your leg off with a chainsaw this is the next best thing! I am able to cut lots of heavy weeds and branches and trees that mess up my fence row takes a little longer but I get a good workout for my arms and it’s quite safe. I really like it and it makes me feel good to chop down thicker branches.
