Ratings & Reviews for Corona DualCUT Forged steel Compound bypass Hand Pruner with Standard handle
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The pruners have an excellent design with sharp blades and a comfortable grip, making pruning easy and efficient. However, some customers experienced issues with the locking mechanism over time, preventing the blades from closing properly. The pruners also struggled to cut branches thicker than 1 inch, despite the advertised capabilities. Overall, the product's performance and quality are satisfactory, but the reliability and durability of the locking mechanism could be improved.

This product performs cutting great, though the blades get stuck closed when other debri gets in the way of the cutting blades. You must manually pull handles apart.

EXCELLENT DESIGN
Would RecommendTHE SHAPE OF THE CUTTER MAKES PRUNING BRANCHES OF ALL APPROPRIATE SIZES EASY. BRANCHES DO NOT SLIDE UP THE BLADE WHILE CUTTING.

awesome if not for fatal design flaw
Would Not RecommendTHese loppers are great while the locking mechanism works...maybe a couple of weeks use before they turn into a hazard. You see while the blades and overall geometries of this product are stellar on their own, when the little metal pin holding the plastic locking tabs breaks free the product will no longer stay in a safe postion and it will no longer stay safe in your holder. I got about 6 weeks worth of use out of the tool before the pin broke out. I managed for the rest of the season with a...
Yearlong of great pruning
Would RecommendI splurged and bought this top of the line prunner about a year ago. Not much more to say than it worked so well and I am super satisfied with the quality. So much so, I bought my second pair yesterday for another set of hands at home to help me control this bamboo growing in my backyard. My only gripe: They rust rather bad if kept outside and they get wet. If so, you can sand off the surface rust and keep the blades oiled to bring them back to life easily.
Decent pruner
Would RecommendGot these on clearance and seem to be very well made, I'll be giving them a good workout in the spring and hope they live up to expectations.
