The pickets are spaced evenly but apparently they do not use a jig for the top and bottom rails as the spacing was not the same on all the panels that I purchased. I used these for a garden fence so appearance was not a major factor. Also, if you want to paint these using a primer is a must. Even with a heavy prime coat the wood was bleeding through the top coat.

Hard to find one good post in multiple stores

Would Not RecommendI ordered six of these panels. Five were built using nails and some pickets had two on top and bottom, some had one, some three, some completely missed the picket. Some of the pickets were cracked, chunks missing, some of the cross rails were split from the nail gun. One section was put together using staples instead of nails. The pickets are a different color and texture than on the other panels and don’t take the stain at all. Looks like a different type of wood. I have no way to return them. ...
