Disappointed

I got a new door almost two years ago and needed a new hook since it is a fiberglass door with a glass window vs the old wood door we had a nail in for my wreaths. I followed the instructions for the hook which was installed on the glass portion of the door and hung wreath later in the day(hours later) and it fell off only hours later. Though maybe had bad adhesive strips so purchased more and the exact same thing happened. Not sure how great these outdoor hooks are if the fall after a short per...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applied to BthRm wall. Applied as per instructions. Did not hang anything on the hook for 2 days. After the 2 day period, used the hook q/o any problems. Will hold a pair of jeans or a wet/ dry bath towel w/o any problem. Just don't pull on the hook when adding or removing any garments. Hook has been installed for 2 months.

Waste of money

I used two hooks to hang the garland and it held up for a couple of hours.

HELP

I really really need help with this outdoor hook. First time I put up my wreath outside of my front entrance, it lasted few months and fell. Bought new set of strips used with the original hook and it's plastic holder but with no luck it fell again. I am tired of buying strips and most of all my wreaths are getting damaged by falling down. Lasted 5 days and then fell off

We followed all of the instructions to use this hook for our wreath on our new fiberglass door. This morning we heard a weird sound and when we went to investigate the hook had fallen off the door. Thankfully it didn't rip off any of the paint. I felt the adhesive and it was barely even sticky anymore! Our door is under a covered porch and gets no rain, super disappointed in this product.

Doesn't work on my fiberglass door

I followed all the steps. It will not hold my wreath on the fiber glass door. Very disappointed.

failed job

I have been buying these hooks because they have been great. I was excited to see the outdoor one finally. I thought this one would work better then the other ones i used on my class storm door, which never seem to stay on with my wreaths. Well to my surprised it failed!!!! I cleaned the whole door with alcohol to make sure it worked perfect. followed the directions for stronger hold just in case. waited the extra time and then finally put my wreath up...... until later that afternoon when i was...

Disappointed beyond belief

Until now I had nothing but praise for command hooks. I have them everywhere in my home. I recently started making deco mesh wreaths and I've successful hung them on command hooks indoors, so naturally I thought the outdoor hook would work on my glass door. I was completely wrong in my assumption! I followed the directions to the letter twice, and it works for about an hour, and then it falls. Two broken wreaths later. I give up!

doesn't work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased 3 Command hooks to hang a 1lb Spring wreath on a glass door. They stay up for less than an hour, then they fall. I purchased this hook because it says it is water resistant, UV resistant and for OUTDOOR use. Our front door gets sun most of the day so I was sure it was a sun issue and I was sure this hook would work. I am really annoyed that this wreath is still on a chair in my living room.

Not impressed with performance

We followed the directions and the wreath weighs less than a pound. After a day, the wreath and hook we're on the ground. We used the second strip and the same thing happened. Maybe glass is too slick for the adhesive. Now, I'm not sure what will work outside.

Outstanding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in California in the Banning Pass area. That is where they have all the windmills. Temps are 115 in the summer and can be below freezing in the winter. Daily fluctuation is always at least 30 degrees. Used this hook on my front door and hung a heavy wreath on it. After a month it is still strong.

Disapointed

I'm unable to hang wreaths on my front door as the storm door does not closed with a wreath on the front door. I needed a way to hang it on my storm door. I bought the hook followed the directions and even waited 24 hours before hanging my wreath. It look wounder. When I got up the next morning the hook and wreath were both on the ground....

Perfect heavy weight hook

We recently had a new front door put on and were not wanting to use any type of hook that might damage it. This hook is working wonderfully! large outdoor hook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband took the hook from the sample pack and put it by the basement door and draped the air hose over it when he's using it. I bought another for myself, and hung a decoration on the porch. They are great. We both thank you Command.
