There was a shortage of places to hang things and many girls with 6 or 7 costumes each. It worked great and can hold a lot of weight. The jumbo hoooks hold all the jackets and book bags at the front door. All the winter scarves, hats and gloves are hung in a bag in the closet on one hook. They really can hold a lot of weight. We have broken a few but only by trying to hanging on them.
