I love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These outdoor hooks are perfect for hanging wreaths or stringing up lights on our porch! We also live where it gets pretty windy, often, and these held everything super secure! Awesome product.

Unique product for the window

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received is product as a free sample from 3m for my honest review. I put this product on a window that is stationary in my living room. I used it on the inside of the window to hang decorations for Valentine's day and so be using for other holidays. It is working very well. I have a plastic love banner hanging on it. I really love this product even if it is suppose to be on the outside and I am using on the inside.

Disappointed

Tried to hang 15 out door wreaths - all were less than 2 pounds each - each fell down within 24 hours - followed directions to ensure adhering ...tried again, very disappointed

Very disappointed

I tried to use three large hooks to display a holiday light in a window. Each hook is supposed to support 4 pounds; the light weighs less than a pound, but I used three because it's fragile & I didn't want the light damaged. I followed instructions exactly. The adhesive clings to the window; the hook does not adhere to the adhesive. Product does NOT perform as advertised.

Disappointed!

Bought the medium hooks to hang a 1lb wreath. The hook and wreath fell within a few days. Bought the larger hook and followed instructions to hang. Wreath and hook fell again. Disappointed with product.

Bought the large clear outdoor command hook yesterday to hang a small wreath outside the window of our door. I followed directions to mount and hung the wreath. This morning I discovered the wreath, with the hook, had fallen. I then used the extra mounting strip that came with the hook to remount the hood on the window, making sure to clean the surface area again with rubbing alcohol. Can't Remove!!

I purchased the large hooks to hang lit snowflakes for the holidays. It did take a few attempts to get them to really stick. I've learned to let them sit for a few days before hanging anything but then they were great. I left 2 on my bay window to hang a Valentine decoration and when I tried to remove them the pull strips broke! Maybe they shouldn't have been left up so long. Now I can't get them off the window! Terrible!

I bought the regular command outdoor for windows because my wreaths are light, just bows. We just bought this new house and was excited to decorate outside for Christmas ..I put up 13 wreaths, before the last one was finished some had already fallen to the ground. Worst product ever

I cleaned the surface before applying and allowed it to dry. While I was bending down to grab the wreath it fell off.

Not as good as the indoor hooks

Used these to hang wreaths and a swag on windows. One hook has fallen twice. Two others have fallen once. One medium that I purchased to help distribute the weight of the swag also came off and the other loosened. I have managed to get 3 of the large hooks to remain up, two for 3 days and one for one day so far, but have had to use all 8 of the adhesive strips that came in the four packages to get those 3 to stay. can't get it to stick on glass

I followed all the directions and have not been able to get just the hangar to stick to the door. I hung 2 and both fell within an hour, and I had not even placed wreath on it. Did it all over with second adhesive and it fell also. I live in FL so maybe it's the humidity??

Does not stay adhered

I love Command products generally and have never had any issues with any type that I've used. This Command product is the first I've used that does not stay adhered as claimed. I intentionally bought the outdoor window type hook as I thought it would be perfect for wreath hanging. In the past I have hung the exact same wreaths using basic large command hooks(non "outdoor" type) on wooden/composite doors- never had any issues. Outdoor Hook Experience

As stated in several of the comments, I also experienced what I thought was a product failure; holiday wreath falling from the window after mounting. I also followed the directions completely, including cleaning the window with alcohol. As you might expect I was frustrated and disappointed, however in a conversation with a customer service representative, who was very professional and empathized with my dilemma, he asked if the wreath was within the stated weight limits; "sure" I responded. Don't waste your money

I purchased last week to hang wreaths on outside windows. follow all instructions. temputure for the day was around 74%. Let the hooks set for about 2 hours and the wreaths were on the ground within 20 min. Wastes of 20 dollars. Will never purchase again. Have already passes the word thru the community of the issue. Hope LOWES takes them back.
