I use these hooks in every single home or business we do holiday decorating. These are a life saver. I was reading where I dividuals claims the command caused damage. Well in my experience if you do not pull the strip completely flat across whatever surface you put them then yes it can cause peeling. So key is keep you gingers flat with surface and pull very slowly. Yes this sounds like a pain but if you don't want marks then just pull off flat then it pulls off as described with no damage. Not damage free (clear decorating clips)

These are NOT damage free. I used them for hanging lightweight swirl decorations from our foyer, hallway, and kitchen ceilings for a 50th anniversary party. When removing, many of the sticky strips broke off, making them nearly impossible to remove without a pry tool. And for those that didn't break, nearly every single one of the strips removed plaster and/or paint from the ceiling. Our ceiling was painted just 6 months ago, and now will have to be repainted as there are chip spots everywhe...

No clear mini replacement strips

These clips work well for routing small cords as well as hanging lights. The strips don't always stick, though, and it's not possible to get replacements. There are white mini replacement strips, that defeats the purpose of having clear clips. As several other people have commented, it's wasteful and bad for the environment to have to buy more clips just to get replacement strips. PLEASE - your customers are asking for this and since already make them, why can't you just sell them separately...

Good hold with no marks.

I had to hang multiple strings of lights in a new building with freshly finished walls. They held great and left no marks.

Great for string lights

These hooks are great for hanging Christmas string lights indoors. They are small and discrete. I definitely recommend waiting overnight after applying them before hanging something though just as a precaution since stringing lights or garland creates tension that could pull off the hooks

Great Item But 3M Needs to Sell Refill Strips

Great product, but you need to sell refills for the adhesive strips. It's bad for the planet that we have to buy a fresh pack of the plastic decorating clips in order to get more adhesive strips. If you have to charge a premium for the adhesive, go ahead - just don't make us throw away the plastic clips after every use.

Need decorative clip refills

I love this product. I used to hang mother's Christmas lights above the bar every year. My issue that is every year I try to find refills and I can't. I couldn't even find them on your site this year. The clips are all on the cord ready to go, I just need refills. I still have to buy a new pack every year and throw out the plastics because all I need is the refill.

Wouldn't stick to anything

Bought this weekend and most of the strips wouldn't stick at all to anything. Never had any problems with other command products but these were trash. My kids are upset because we can't hang the lights up.

I agree with many posts on here, please make refills for these decorating clips. I have millions of clips and I don't want to buy more I just need the strips to hang the ones I already have!

LOVE EM!

PERFECT for my apartment decorations on painted walls. A single hook held my wreath made entirely of metal bells on my front door through all the opening and shutting for the duration of the season. I keep some in my junk drawer just in case.

Just what I needed, but no refills is a problem.

I bought these last year to hold up some wiring for the lights in my kitchen cabinets. When one broke, I went to the pack to get a new one to use. Unfortunately the strips dried up and no longer work. Very wasteful as I now have clips without the strips and they don’t sell refills. I guess you can try to buy the smallest available and cut them to size. Will that work?

Need Refill Strips!

[Employee of 3m-command] These are great, I use a million of them every year for halloween decorating. HOWEVER, I am only giving them 3 starts because there are no refill strips. I will be looking for an alternative way to hang my items next year because I feel like I am wasting to much plastic and money on something I should be able to reuse.
