[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these in the kids rooms for lightweight items. They work and are easy to install. The only problems I ever have with them is when one of my kids tries to hang something heavy like a gym bag. These are made for lightweight items.

Decorating nightmare

Bought these to hang lightweight garland. The entire strand weighed less than 2 lbs. and I used 3 hooks per strand. Had to constantly redo them to get through Christmas. It seems that me there is not enough surface area on the hook to adhere to the strip. Would not recommend these to anyone

Ripped paint off wall

Works great until you go to take it off the wall and then it tears the paint right off. When you try to pull the tab to remove the hooks, it just breaks off. I will NEVER be buying these again! Ruined my wall!

simple wall hooks

the hooks work if the wall is smmoth and you keep the item hanging on the hook light otherwise it will pull off the wall.

Bad product

I have been using various Command products for many years - and have been generally quite happy about them. However, this product (or maybe the box I purchased) is very defective. Two defects: (1) Out of 6 hooks in the box, 3 broke after using for 6 months. (2) I bought a replacement set, but this time I went for the Designer Hooks (17081-8ES), as they seemed sturdier. Used to hang tapestry in church. Hangers were hidden along ceiling in hallway and left for future use.

Really easy to use

I was able to reorganize my pans, pot holders, and everything else without having to bother my husband to put holes in the cabinetry or walls!

Powerful Beyond weight Suggestion

I bought two packs of the medium utility hooks for use in the shower initially. Instead, I hooked one to a utility tub to connect a dog lead to when not in use. It has far exceeded my expectations in strength. My boys tug on it, using their paws. One tried to eat it. The hook won. I hung the other on the wall next to the door trim to hang a couple leashes. One is a heavy duty double handle, the other a six foot standard. I'm impressed both could fit on the hook. I am a believer.

Damage paint!

They rip off the paint right down to the primer when you remove them. Total garbage I wish I had never heard of these things, what a fiasco!!!

Furious

I bought the utility hooks to hang 5 Christmas stockings for my cats. I hung the straps and hooks last year with no issue. This year I bought a package of replacement strips and upon trying to remove them, it ripped a big chunk out of my paint all the way to the wall board and the second one bubbled the paint up ( I pressed it back into wall with my finger). I'm now, afraid to remove the other 3 as I really don't have the resources to fix this wall. I don't even know what color paint it is. Now ...

3 Strengths. None worked.

If I could give no stars I would. Bought for a light (lass than 1lb) Christmas wreath. Started with lb, wreath immediately fell off, returned & bought 3lb, wreath fell off again. Finally moved up to 5lb & it still isn't holding. Wreath is now damaged.

Amazingly practical

Moved into a new home six weeks ago. These hooks are amazing. They go anywhere I want them to be and I can change them easily when my wife doesn't agree with my placement decision. I have used Command products now for about fifteen years and swear by them. This Multi-Pack is reasonably priced.

Practical!

Multiple Uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these while we were living temporarily in someones basement apartment. I used them anywhere I needed a small hook and was able to take them down when I left with no problem. I have learned from past experience that I needed to take my time pulling the strip to release the tape, and to hold it with the other hand while pulling so it didn't damage the wall. Ripped the spackle off of wall

Used these in my rental apartment. Moving out tomorrow and had to take them down. So hard to get the strips off of the wall. It ripped the spackle off of my wall!

Good if you never want to remove it

I bought this item about a year ago and the hooks and installation worked fine. However I have recently moved and need to remove all the hooks either left a residue on the paint or took a little bit of the paint off. I tried to remove the hooks as carefully as possible, but was still unsuccessful. They hold great but I would not recommend using this if you rent because it will likely damage the paint and you will lose some of you deposit.

Work wonderfully until removal.

I bought quite a few a year ago to hang my son's Special Olympics and other medals.

Wow! It really holds up Everything!

I bought some of these when we moved into this rental last year, they hold up my living room drapes, my kitchen curtains, my Ethernet cable, and the outside wear beside the door. Great products.

Don't use for a wreath

I got these in the beginning of November to hang a handmade wreath. Planning on keeping it up for the month. It fell and damaged the wreath once, I fixed the wreath and the hung with a new tab. A week later it fell again. The wreath does not weigh more than the recommended weight. Upset about the damage to the wreath.
