These are great at keeping decor on walls, but they are terrible to take off of the wall. I was moving furniture and decided to move my small mirror that was hanging on the wall with these hooks. I looked at the directions to see how to take them off to make sure my wall wouldn’t get damaged, so I followed the directions and it ripped off part of my wall the size of a penny!!! Great idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these on my smaller trash cans to reuse shopping bags as liners. They work great, except that they fall off after a few bag changes. I would recommend them for other, less strenuous uses.

Love this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Mom was in a nursing home that had big block cement walls so you couldn't put nails in to decorate. These worked great so I was able to hang things all over the walls and change them with every holiday to make her room more warm and comforting

Awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these to hang my Christmas stockings this year. They held them up even when they were stuffed. Came off my wall super easy with no issues and didn't mess up the paint. I will use these every year from now on.

Ripped my wall

I used these to hang up my dry erase board, I went to take the hooks off(I followed directions that were given on how to take them off) and i have a hole in my wall now.

Wall Damage from this product

Terrible, I purchased these specifically because you stated these will not damage the wall. I have a picture where I have one that the piece you pull to remove the hook ripped off the hook, now I have one stuck on my wall. Another is approximately 1/2 x 1/2" piece of wall that was tore off with the removal as instructed. I am not sure I would advise anyone to use these.

not only does it not hold ANYTHING up but it also peeled up my paint off waste of time and money

Great way to hang lights

I used command strips for the first time this year to hang holiday lights from the gutters on my house. It was easy, fast, and worked great.

Keep those items in place

A product that adheres to the surface, and does not mar the surface when removed.

i purchased 2- value packs and 1-12 pack to hang things in the window. i was very pleased with all my other command hooks but not so much these. they do not stick to glass very well and only stay up for a short time :(

Thought they'd last longer

All my other hooks have held up fine, but one of them fell off after I hung a tank top on the string I tied to the hook. It's a tank top. The string and the tank top aren't more than half a pound. Followed directions and everything. It would hold my tank top before, but today I put it on and the hook snapped off my wall and chipped my new layer of black paint. Went to see if it would stick back on and it wouldn't. Peeled the sticky to see if at least that feature worked. It did. But I don't have...

Terrible product

I bought this to hang some 1/4" poly tubing around the pump room at the pool where I work. The packaging says these hooks will stick to anything but that's not true. The adhesive pads will not stick to drywall or plastic wallboard around the room. As soon as I let go of the hook (directions said hold 30 secs for glue to dry) it fell off the wall and would not stick again. These will fall eventually

These won't hold up in humid conditions. I've had 3 of these fall off of walls in various rooms in my house over the past couple weeks. Luckily, nothing has broken so far. It's been a rainy spring in Texas and I think the humidity is the reason. The items I have hanging on these are very lightweight, definitely less than the 1/2-lb limit. No good

I bought these to hang pictures on a gallery wall. They all weigh less than half a pound. I followed instructions. The strip's are staying on the wall fine. However the hook keeps coming off the sticky and my pictures are all falling. Very disappointed. Didn't want to put holes in my walls.

Destroyed my wall

I bought these a month ago to hang in my wall to support string with pictures clothspinned onto the string. Today I decide to take them down and I was NOT pleased with the result. On the package it says "easy take off, no damage" but when I took off the clip just like the instructions told me it took off all of this paint. I am not Satisfied and I would never buy this product again or recommend it to anyone.

Removed the paint

Installed on 1 year old paint as per instructions. When I removed them after the holidays about 2 weeks from install, some of them were so stuck they took the paint and one even took some sheet rock

Will not use again!

I bought the command strips to hold the lighted garland around my door. I recently (october) repainted my front door, door surround, and porch, so I did not want to staple the decorations as I've done in the past. Great for Christmas lights

We bought a pack of these mini hooks to help us hang Christmas lights in our living room. They were just the right number and size to string lights near the ceiling on three adjacent walls.
