The adhesive strips are not for outside use.
Would Not RecommendThe adhesive strips for these outdoor clips do not hold up after it rains or if it’s humid outside. We placed these along the top of our porch & along the railing so we could hang our Christmas lights & several hooks detached after it rained. We wound up using metal hooks instead.

Apply during warmer weather?
Works relatively well, but doesn't always stick well to outside walls always. It could be the cold weather, below freezing causing this. Perhaps this would be better when applied during warmer weather!?
