putting together pain!

Directions to put together are poor to say the least. I am an experienced DIYer but the directions are not clear or complete. The latch to keep the grill in portable position won't latch. I also wish the wheeled leg front actually locked into place not just slid into position.

Perfect for Small Balcony and Camping

Bought mine 2 years ago and it still works perfectly. It fits my small balcony and it is easy to move around.

Bad Manufacting, Poor Design.

I bought this grill with two uses in mind, for home use and to take on the occasional camping trip. However, I can say that I am quite dissatisfied with my purchase. For one, out of the box the grill doesn't work very well. The temperature on the grilling surface is very uneven, meaning that.. for example if you are cooking hamburgers, one burger will be perfectly cooked the other will be basically raw. Also in just one years use the regulator for the propane has already stopped working. So do y...

Not worth to price

Regulator went our within two years. Would not recommend to anyone.Disappointed i expected a better quality of product with the "Coleman" name. Replacement parts for a regulator is not available.

Issues with drip pan, cleaning, wheels.

I wish there was a better system for drip pan. The bottom inside is flat so not all grease goes into drip pan, some stays in bottom of body... drips in trunk of car unless I tear completely apart and clean prior to travel. Wheels are loose and bowed out. Otherwise I am very happy with it!

good grill for the price

Have been using this grill for the past three years. Keep it stored outside in the weather and use it at least once a week in the spring, fall and summer months. Maybe once or twice a month in the winter. It still grills like a champ. Just started to get a little rust on the lid but I'd expect that from all the use and sitting in the PNW weather. For me, this little grill has been a workhorse.

Great Tailgate grill

Grill was used for college tailgating and provided a well distributed heat source. It folds up and fits easily into your car or van. Also easy to clean!

Do not buy - paint chips off the grate

The paint flaked off the grates the first time we used this grill. We were ingesting the paint chips while eating, needless to say we tossed our food. This could be a great grill if this was not an issue. Also the grill is a bit too short, maybe if the legs were able to extend and bring up the height.

Poor quality

I gave it a two because it it did cook . The unit does not lock when it is folded down so the barbecue flips backwards when you try and wheel it on the wheels. Spend a few more dollars and try and find a built model you can look at before you buy .

does a good job

I live in a condo and space is scarce this fits very nicely and does a good job. I have cooked steaks on it and the timing I use for doneness works great. I am very pleased with this unit.

regulator broke after 2 uses

Bought this for my trailer because i liked the size. part costs more than grill.

Almost perfect

I bought this because it's small enough to carry in my rpod camper. It's light and easy for this 60+ years old woman to lift into and out of the camper. It's the perfect height for me (I'm 5'2" ), lights easily, and is plenty big enough to cook for me and my 3 grandkids. I removed one star because the drip pan slides out whenever you move the grill which is annoying, and sadly mine slid out when I wasn't looking and I lost it. I'm now trying to find a replacement drip pan.

Not A SAFE HEIGHT TO COOK ON

I bought this Grill put it together. when i had it fully assembaled it stands way to low and is an unreasonable height to cook on. My Inlaws have a Coleman Roadtrip LXE 2 Burner stove and I can cook on that just fine but the sportster is just way too low.
