Bright light but torturing high pitched noise

Pluses: bright, convenient focusing ring, relatively long battery life especially when using ZX350. I was able to complete most of my honey do list in one charge. Other headlamps require the battery to be changed in the middle. Negatives: TORTURING high pitched noise when the brightness is set to medium (middle setting). On the low setting the noise is there but fainter and bearable. The clip to close the battery cover is flimsy (plastic clip with no hinge)

THE BEST headlamp I have ever used!

I recived my first one as a company gift in 2017. I wore the poor thing out after 5 years, and COAST honored their lifetime warranty without question. I decided to buy 2 more for spares... Ok to start this off i bought this a year ago or so. And used it often so in the start i didn't notice anything wrong. Then the trouble started i noticed it being dead everytime i used it. To confirm i charged the battery and then just left it on a shelf for a few days to confirm and it was dead. did this with both AAA battery's and the rechargeable battery. Great bright light but hinge problem

I have used coast lights for years was happy to see the rechargeable battery come out I depend on this light a a boat mechanic and use it 8 hours a day while changing the battery under normal use and conditions the hinge broke while opening the battery door.now I am happy to say I contacted warranty and with it 2 hours of contact I have a new unit on the way all I did was fill out the form attached 3 pics and was done all from a phone on the job took 5 min no problem this is a great light depend...

I am very impressed and pleased with my Coast FL75R. AT 530 lumens, it lights up anything and and anywhere I'm working.
