Works well have them around for whenever I need them. Love that they only take 2 AAA.

this is a very good item, however the battery life is not as good and needs to be changed pretty much as soon as purchased.poc

Coast LED Headlamp

I use this to read at night using the red light. I only use it for 15 to 20 minutes as it helps me go to sleep. I'm not certain about the quality of the light itself but the batteries furnished with it are pitiful. By the start of the 4th night the light was so dim as to be unusable. Maybe now with quality batteries, it will be good.

this has been so helpful in the attic, installing a water heater, and work under the car or truck

Great headlamp, low price

This was definitely an impulse buy, but this time I was glad I bought. I'm a big fan of having light available. I have a headlamp for my regular camping, but this one was inexpensive to keep in my regular day pack that I carry daily. It's very bright, has multiple modes and even a night vision red LED. Very pleased!

only an average led headlamp

I purchased this headlamp for its red lamp mode for map reading during a rally. although it was red, the output was to bright for a red mode use for night time and dark area use when you don't want to loss your night vision. also the output was not even and showed a hot spot in center. I own much better ones that give brighter and more even beams when used in white light mode.

Nice head light

Good product. Needs alittle padding on the back of the light that goes against your head.

Works well in the dark

The red light works well for getting to a deer stand in the dark. You need to hold hand over light while pressing button to get to the steady red light, and cover while turning the light off.

COAST 130-LUMEN LED HEADLAMP

I have always thought of these head band lights as more of a gimmick. Never powerful enough nor lasting due to battery life and cost. This changed with LEDs and better batteries so I'm happier for it. A must have for Hand Crafts of any type, it shines where you look. The band isn't so tight on my head to cause pinch or slip for looseness. The brightness and aiming ability is just right. Less expensive than most makers for this same type headlamp. Works well for work in diminished light.... working on my motorcycles. Brightness settings works great for dark corners or walking to tree stand in Bow season. Lightweight. Buy it!
