Not the best
I’ve had experience with similar Elfa and Rubbermaid track closet systems. The ClosetMaid system just feels cheaper, especially these drawers. I was especially disappointed that the track hangers required mounting screws at specific intervals, which meant I couldn’t align them with my studs. I had to drill holes larger than 1/2” in my drywall to use their supplied toggle bolts instead of putting screws into studs.

Would RecommendPurchased this as part of a closet refresh and to add an additional closet rod. Overall it seems like it will be okay for typical closet usage. Install was straight forward, but does require some pre-planning. Similar to other commenters, I would recommend using the "zip-style" toggles for the upper rails and vertical standards. From cramped to organizing
Would RecommendMy kids closet is 9½ feet it only had one bar all the way across before. That fell from all the Weight so we installed this. Now I feel like the closet is so much bigger. I still need to figure what I want to go where but so far I am Happy with the inexpensive upgrade to the space.
Clean Upgrade on a budget
Would RecommendThis is a great system for a closet on a budget. Easy to install and design with any size or shaped closet. Planning to remodel fancy at some point, but great system for the time being! Will also be using for the pantry. I recommend again.

Would Not RecommendThe toggle bolts that come with the kit are ridiculous to try to install 4 at one time seven feet off the ground...will get one piece toggle bolts for next time!

Would RecommendI had a small 3ft closet with some obstacles in it that I was trying to make useful for storage. This was perfect. Just realize if you are installing in a closet less than 4ft, you will need to use a hacksaw to cut down one of the brackets, and bolt cutters to trim one of the shelves down. I also got the add on kit with two more wall rails and connectors to provide more vertical flexibility for shelves. It has made my closet much more useful and it is easy to move the shelves around any time. ...
