A Weaker Version of an Earlier Strong Support
The new version of this closet rod support is less substantial than the previous one, especially at the stress points where the support attaches to the shelving and the area where the rod will eventually rest. I am not sure it will hold up as well as the older version which was more sturdier built. I am giving it three stars because from an engineering standpoint -- it was manufactured with reduced consideration for strength. It matches the older support except in build quality.
