What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these wall clips for secure, reliable shelf support and ease of installation. Most highlight that shelves remain stable and level when clips are mounted into studs, with many noting the snap-on design holds wire shelves firmly in place without sagging. Reviewers consistently describe the clips as strong, sturdy, and more robust than older hardware they replaced. Installation is straightforward, and customers appreciate the flexibility to mount into studs or use anchors based on wall type. Needs a Little Trimming for Old Shelves!
Would RecommendThe clips worked ok and were the correct brand name to match shelves we had installed years ago. Those clips broke, which was from wear, weight, and age. I understood that part. The new clips didn't quite fit and I had to do some "DIY" to make them work! It was mostly just a little trimming off a little for the shelf to fit. It wasn't real hard but did take some time and figuring out how to make the work. Some things just take a little ingenuity and/or creativity! It was well worth it tho...

Easy to Use
Would RecommendThe wall clips for the ClosetMaid shelving are easy to use. Just clipped them onto the back edge of the shelf, marked the holes, drilled the holes and installed. And could easily rotate the shelf up to allow room to install the front side clips.

Great shelving alternative
Would RecommendFirst, I would not recommend this wire shelving system for bookcases UNLESS you are prepared to add some sort of solid material on top to keep books from slipping out. That said, for almost every other application this stuff is terrific. For closets and laundry rooms, for pantries and kitchen storage Closet Maid is tops. I strongly recommend the entire system!

Closet Maid wire shelving
Would RecommendEasy to install, very durable and sturdy shelving. Best to have all support hardware mounted to studs. Not that hard to do with a studfinder. Installed this 20" deep, 12’ long shelf in a few hours.
Simple & strong
Would RecommendNothing too special on this product, I replaced several old clips in my closet and these worked just fine.

Would RecommendI bought these for my metal shelf racks for my closet. They are just like the original ones that were put in my closet. Problem being when I bought this house the installer didnt put enough in to hold the shelf. So theses worked great

What choice do you have?
Would Not RecommendI know you have to use clips that are designed to fit the Closetmaid wire, but why don't they fit? The clips won't clip onto the wire without ripping the vinyl covering. When you try to push them into the space, they won't go in using your hands. I had to use a file to remove some of the plastic from the clip, then use pliers to force clip and wire into position. God forbid you have to shimmy the wire....no movement. To remove clip to try again, it tore the vinyl. Are you sure the wire folks...
