Be careful: Match bracket with shelf compatibility
The bracket didn't fit my shelf. It turns out that the manufacturer makes different brackets for different shelves (and each style has a different lip depth) but it's not clearly stated on the package. Fortunately, the product that I bought was for a larger shelf lip than the shelf that I have, so I was able to cut it down to get the shelf to come to rest within the bracket. .
