Good maintenance item

We began using this two weeks ago as a maintenance item for our pool. We have seen immediate improvement in our water clarity and chemical balance. May not work for all, but has worked for us.

Attentiveness for Effectiveness

So I’m a first time pool owner using Clorox pool products in my 11,000 gallon pool for the first time ever and I’m loving their pool chemicals line. One thing’s for certain you most definitely have to be attentive when testing your water and doing your scans. You have to adjust the color on the results from scan to whatever your dipstick is showing at that time and make adjustments according to the chemical suggestions. Works ok, but I needed more than expected

I initially bought one bag of the pH Up and after testing I decided to buy a 2nd. After 2 bags my PH was slightly below 7.2 which is okay but I wanted 7.6 which is considered ideal. I ended up using some Soda Ash and got to the desired 7.6 PH level. Make sure to test and address Alkalinity first so PH and Chlorine additives can work properly.

Will cloud your pool!

Will never use again. Followed instructions to a tee. Clouded the entire pool. Ran filter for 4 days straight, never cleared the cloudiness. Thought it might be another reason, so I drained the pool (6,000 gal) and refilled it with triple filtered water. All was perfectly clear, except when I added this product again, instantly cloudy.

Most of us get acid rain so pH UP is a must.

Good product! Easy to use, good results. I needed to raise the pH of our pool quite a bit and following the instructions I was able to get the pH up where it should be quickly.
