What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally effective at stabilizing chlorine levels in both salt and freshwater pools. Many users report it works well, though some found the granules can be slow to dissolve, requiring patience and brushing. A few users noted it did not increase cyanuric acid levels as expected. Overall, the product performs as advertised, though users may need to experiment with application methods to achieve desired results.

All brands of stabilizer takes time disolve
Clorox brand is just as good or better than other brands. No stabilizer dissolves quickly but I find it best to put it in a bucket of water and let it sit a bit. Pour directly into skimmer it dissolves a lot quicker then pouring it directly into the deep end of pool. I now buy Chlorox pool chemicals and are very pleased with them.

Worked for me
Instead of using a sock, I used a zippered laundry bag (used for lingerie), tied off side of pool, and let sit in front of jets for 20 minutes and squeezed. Worked beautifully!

Choose a different CYA/chlorine stabilizer
Would Not RecommendThis is our first year with a pool. It's an above ground inflatable/temporary, less than 4,000 gallons. Lowe's is super close so we tend to purchase our items there and this was the only CYA they had in store. I'm a math geek so have no problem figuring out how much is needed. The first time, when we first got our pool up, I put in a slightly lower amount than originally figured out of caution because I know you can't really get rid of CYA once it's there and can't know for certain exactly how m...
