Worthless

I have two My Pool Care Assistant Test Strip kits. I wasn't seeing changes in the test strips despite adding the recommended amount more than once over a week. I understand under or over shooting my target, but there was no change at all. I went to my local pool store and I overshot the pH. In the process, I no doubt got everything else out of whack. I went looking for community feedback on these strips and apparently they're terrible. Is Clorox planning to fix them? Now I have good chlorine ...

Not accurate

Chlorine #s accurate. Alkalinity close. PH way off. Reads 6.8 it’s 7.4 on my Taylor test kit (which is very accurate). Strips read 6.8 all the time. The one big one is CYA. And this is where these strips can cost you headaches and dollars. My CYA I know is 60. It’s always on the high side. Repeated tests by Taylor and the local pool store concur, 60-70 depending on how often I dilute. These strips always read 0 CYA and want me to dump a bunch of stabilizer in the pool. Want ...

Not Accurate

The concept of this product with the scanning app is wonderful. Unfortunately in practice it doesn't live up to expectations. The readings are not accurate. Chemical testing is much better. The pH reading in particular has never scanned accurately. Also the saved readings process doesn't work well. It is supposed to save the last 2 days data but saves some readings longer and does not save most recent readings. I will keep on trying to work with the app but it will not be useful for most users.

Super easy to use, no guessing

Really easy to use, I purchased this because my pool was cloudy and green. I followed the recommendations and it didn’t work, I think it was just too far gone. I’m doing a partial water change and will test again using this.

Using the strips and app is great. Not only do you get a good reading, but it also keeps the history of you tests.

The strips lose their color way to fast. You had better have a pen and paper handy to write down the letter.

So far, the test strips seem to read the same as the test from my local pool supply store.

The tablets do a great job on my pool water. Always test good no problems stays crystal clean.

Easy to Use

You can download the app and check your water readings or simply compare your readings to the side of the bottle. I will definitely purchase again in the future.

Buy most of my pool products at lowes and always get value for the price

Frustrating

1 out of 10 strips actually scanned on my phone. Sounds like a good concept, but after days of testing and adding chemicals and purchasing more chempicals.... (because the app tells you to) I’m not even close to where it should be. I’m done being a slave to this Clorox app!! I’m going back to the old fashioned drops and figuring it out myself.

Waste of time and money

Test strips are so unreliable color fades as soon as it hits water? App is worthless every scan is different in every scan even on the same strip. Entered Data both manually and scanned made me buy all Clorox products and the results are a pool I really don’t know if it’s safe to swim in. Don’t waste your time go to a professional pool store for advice it’s cheaper. I have all Clorox products and test after test something is wrong and more chemicals are needed may need to just completely replace...

Nice concept, but if you are going to use the app.,i suggest manually entering the data rather than taking the picture. It tends to misread the ph, alk and stabilizer.
