[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still new at this pool thing. It seems like I have to use a lot of this in my pool. Last year I couldn't find it and so I didn't put much in the pool and it wasn't to bad. So I can't say how good it is. Add it and strips say its ok for several days and then ask for this product again.

Save my hisband from hours of tinkering with the chenicals to keep them right and safe for swimming! May be more expensive, but you soend less in the long run because you dont have to do as much to the pool!

Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My clorox app recommended this product to lower alkalinity. Not sure why. I used the whole bottle, especially around my ladder, which is the only place I see rust. I don't expect those stains to go away, but hopefully this will prevent more stains. Too soon to tell.

Scale and metal control
Would Not RecommendWe have well water and when we fill our pool with have a water filter on it as it goes in. I had some brownish spots on bottom of liner thought it maybe sand coming back in but tested pool and it told me to add 1.25qts of the scale and metal to it I have done this 3 times now and today my pool is Mountain Dew green I am losing it. My PH is high and I am trying to get it down too it is so frustrating. I am not seeing how this is helping my problem

Would Not RecommendI have had high alkalinity in my pool for over a week. I have purchased 2 bottles of this product during this time. It said to only add half a quart. So this should have been 4 treatments. After following all directions it did not come down. I did this 4 diffrent times using both quarts. The alkalinity is still over 200 ppm. I feel this product does not really work. I give it two stars because it did help with the cloudyness of the pool.
