Good but...

These tablets are good, probably great depending on the size of your pool. My pool is 25,000 gallons & I use 2 at a time which only lasts about 2 days with my pump running 24/7. Bioguard’s Silk Sticks are expensive as well but lasts longer & do the same thing. Overall, these tablets are good, just keep in mind to replenish your skimmer basket every other day. The negative is the price with these - I felt they were way too expensive.

Pool Chemical

The 3" tablets desolve at a good rate and do the job needed.

My Husband says this works Fantastic!

We've had above ground pools for over 30 years so we have went through quite a few different brands of chlorine. This is our second year to use this product. My husband says it is by far the best 3" Pool Chlorine Tablet he has ever used. Our pool is in the hot sun and he fills up the floater with tablets and he puts 1 one in the skimmer our pool stays crystal clear the whole summer. I don't know how often he refills the floater and skimmer.

poor quqlity

Pool cloudy since I stared using Active 99. Tabblets were not wrapped and is overpowering when you open the container. Got a lot of rain and my pool turned completely dark green. Finally got that taken care of but still cannot get the cloudiness out. Had my water checked at a pool Pro and my water chemistry in fine. I firmly believe that the problem is Active 99. changing tablets today and I will know for sure.

Good Product

Good product! This is as good as any chlorine product on the market. I've used it all summer and have had no issues. My pool has been balanced, stabilizer level has been low, and with algae treatment I've had not algae problems.

Horrible results with this product

I have owned an above ground swimming pool for over 40 years. This is the first year I have ever had trouble getting and/or keeping the water clear. Had trouble getting the water clean in the spring after using Clorox brand shock. Went out and bought HTH. The water was clear over night. I have been using the clorax 3 inch tablets all summer and can not keep the water clean. Will buy nothing but HTH in the future.

dispensing canister is awful

While the tablets are chlorine, the canister that contains the "in plastic wrapper" tablets is awful. Despite that I kept it closed moisture got in and the chlorine is starting to decompose. When I get more tablets out of the canister I have to hold my breath, grab the tablets (the plastic wrap is disintegrating as I do this) and get the tablets I need. I did not have this issue with a competitors product without individual wrapped tablets. Their lid screwed on and I kept that bucket for 1 1...

Easy to obtain and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tablets in this tub are individually wrapped so they are much easier to handle than loose tablets and this also helps keep the chlorine smell down. Despite being individually packaged, some of the tablets are surprisingly broken. They are still usable, but you do end up with smaller bits in the dispenser which don't last as long. Very convenient being able to purchase these from almost any store when needed.

Great Product from a Brand I trust

I am extremely pleased with the product and trust Clorox for clean, safe swimming pool water. Easy to use and tablets chlorinate pool just fine. Highly recommend! Easy to carry pail, very convenient.

Great Product!

Environmentally This Sucks!

I have no issue with the actual effectiveness of the product. However, could they make the container any harder to open? Then you open it up and every tab is wrapped in plastic! Jeez, Clorox have you heard of the environment? about what all this plastic is doing to the ocean? Also all their shocks come in plastic bottles! smh I don't know of any other brand that packages their pool chemicals so irresponsibly. Don't think I'll be using their stuff anymore because of these concerns.

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a salt system but always use chlorinating tablets when I open my pool. Once I got my water stabilized, I threw a few Clorox tablets in the skimmer and my floating chlorinator and my levels have been perfect. I really like the easy-open storage tub, but I'm not sure why the tablets are individually wrapped. Seems to be unnecessary and wasteful packaging. That's the only reason I'm not giving five stars.
