Would RecommendThis shock is ok, but not great. It may be for the fact I have a vinyl lined pool and I really need to use calcium hypochlorite. This is sodium dichloro-trizene, or something like that. It cleared the pool fairly well and killed the algae, but it doesn't seem to last where the other shock I used lasted a while longer after a shock treatment. I think it's ok, but it may just be because I have a vinyl lined pool and not a plaster pool. Plus it may be my type of water, I use well water to fill...
