My husband has dementia and it is getting so hard for him to lift his legs. We only have one full bathroom. With him having dementia we probably won't be able to stay in our home too much longer so we didn't want to take the whole tub out for when we need to put our house on the market. The product is great. It takes a little time to get it done. One problem however. The two plastic pieces that go on the tube floor to stabilize the threshold did not work on my tub. My tub was very narrow in the middle of the tub and they would not go in. I had to use treated wood and had to keep working it and recutting the wood till it worked. That was the most difficult part. After that it was fine.not sure what you can do to solve that problem. I am sure I am not the only one that had such a...

Great product. The instructions and videos were a big help. Although I had my doubts about the estimated install time - I was able to get the Convertible unit installed in 3 1/2 hours (not including clean-up). This will be a tremendous safety upgrade for the user.

Very happy with the service and product. Ordered on Thursday morning and received on Saturday. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We installed it in a cast iron tub. We used a 6 inch diamond blade and had no problem. One of us held a shop vac near the blade while the other cut. It kept the dust to a minimum. Covering everything, installing and clean up took about 5 hours. It is working great for my 91 year old mother.

product serves a great purpose. had a thick cast enamel tub. taped cut out area before cutting with diamond side grinder. tracing side cut outs was tricky and takes some precise layout. the next one i install im sure will be a smoother install. i wouldnt recommend for your do it yourselfers with out previous metal cutting and layout experience.
