Preferred product

If you have multiple of layers to remove you will need 3-4 layers of this to bring it up. Other than that it works great and the smell isn’t as overwhelming as other products.

Works

Works ok, dries out fast. It takes a thicker layer than it states to work easier. Definitely need mineral spirits to get its residue off.

Easy to use, smells good, and completely stripped the door we were working on!

Plop, plop, fizz, fizz

As far as a quick solution to stripping this is great. The can doesn't give you much more than one coat for your project, and for some areas I found it necessary to apply a second or even a third coating of spray (which meant buying more cans). There is also a gelatinous buildup that "plops" off the nozzle after prolonged use, so be mindful of where you are using this product.

Paint removal

Paint removal from aluminum boat. Worked well and fast. No horrible smell or fumes. Would buy this again. Almost bought cheaper products but glad I didn’t.

Doesn't work

I bought this product to strip the paint off a very small child's chair. Applied a thick coat, covered with a plastic bag, and let stand for 8+ hours. I then attempted to scrape off the paint. Mostly what came off was the partially solidified Citri-strip itself! To get any of the paint off I had to really scrub away with a scouring pad and sandpaper. I tried applying more and repeating the process, with no better results. Don't waste your money!

Not worth the money of effort!

I purchased this produce to refinish a kitchen table. I selected it because the usual product I use has a much higher VOC. My bad! Should have read the reviews. While the VOC is low, it isn't lemon fresh. You have to apply a very thick coating and put plenty of elbow grease into removing the finish; even waiting over an hour it wasn't easy! I had to apply a second coat to achieve only fair results. I had to use lacquer thinner to remove the residual finish. I normally use Klean Strip Pre...

Great Product.

Easy fumes, not harsh, and it works. Cheaper than everything else on the shelf at Lowes that does similar.

Orange dye absorbs

Works however it stained the wood, Will have to strip again

Disappointed

This stuff sucks and it was super messy. Just think of the goo your kids play with, it's just like that. After reading the reviews and watching videos it looked like a breeze, NOPE
