Really basic

If you are looking to save a few dollars at the expense of your rear end this is the product for you. It works but at what cost I won’t go into.

I loved this product.

I no longer use any Charmin toilet paper. I do like any of them and know several that stopped using it and we are all now using Cottonelle. Bring this product back. I feel you will make more money with this product than any of the others.

Not the same Charmin!

I have been buying Charmin for 20+ years but the last pack I bought was no better than gas station commercial toilet paper . will never buy again, in search of a better product!!

I HATE Charmin Essentials. Bring back Basic!!!

I had been a loyal customer of the Charmin Basic brand for the last 3-4 years. It was THE perfect bargain toilet paper. Never had any problems. It was the perfect combination of strength and softness. Now... like everyone else I am looking for a new brand of toilet paper. I seriously hate... I mean really HATE Charmin Essentials. Please bring back Charmin Basic!

Please bring back Charmin Basic. Charmin Essentials in the Soft and the Strong version both are awful. Our family has bought Charmin Basic for years and were disappointed to see it gone for good. We have tried the Essentials, regular Charmin, and Charmin Ultra. Nothing compares. This was the best balanced toilet paper. Soft but not too thick and still strong.

Been buying Charmin basic for years and so to our family's surprise and disappointment; the recent package I purchased is comparable to sandpaper. Your changes to the paper are very noticeable. It is see through, rough, and hard on the nether regions.We have decided as a family to rid ourselves of it and switched brands permanently.

Sorry to hear you discontinued Charmin Basic. This paper was perfect as far as strength and safe on our septic. We've been buying it exclusively for years. Now will have to find an alternative.

I do not like the new "soft" Charmin Basic. I LOVED the previous version. It was a perfect balance before, now it is too soft. Why did you change a good thing?

The only one I want

I don't like too thick or too thin paper and this one is perfect; it is the ONLY TOILET PAPER I want and I am having trouble finding it. I have been forced to try the other Charmin products and I don't like any of them even half as well as Basic. If I keep having trouble finding this product, I will have to start ordering it online, which I find absurd for toilet paper, but I am getting desperate. Please tell me where I can find this product in or near Waterbury, CT. I WANT MY BASIC!!!!!!

Perfect, exclusively used

Please keep making this toilet paper. It is about the only product I can use. I am allergic to something in many products.

Love charmin basic

I really hate that you changed charming basic. It was easy on our septic system and our tushes. Hate the new "soft". Please go back to the way it was

Quality going down

When this product first came out, it was excellent. Now, it is thinner, rougher, and just not as good quality overall. Highly disappointed.

Wonderful product

Basically chemical free, very few ingredients, and one of few I am not allergic to. It's really soft and strong, too. Softer than most of the other toilet papers on the market. The last week or so I've had a hard time finding it in the stores. I hope you aren't going to discontinue making it.

As think as tissue paper

This paper is so thin you have to use 2 or 3 times as much to get the job done without your finger poking through.

Product is one ply and rough

This is terrible toilet paper. Will NEVER buy again. Only bought because it was on sale. Will only buy ultrasoft in the future or switch to Northern

Best "go to" paper when you have to "go"

My daughters and I have been using charmin for years now and it is our go to for toilet paper.

Clogs up the plumbing

Clogged up the plumbing so badly the plumber and I both thought that there were socks stuffed into the pipes. Needless to say, the remaining rolls went directly into the trash can where they belong.
