Great stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Duo, use it so much I have replaced burners twice, flavor shield 3 or 4 times(lost count), grates twice…..used the daylights out of the propane side….would usually do the meat on wood/charcoal side, veggies and pizza on the propane. Amazing how many steaks I could on both sides at once! Great product!

Best bang for the buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still one of the best grills on the market. It doesn’t last for 10 years like some of the more expensive ones but for the price it is any amazing grill.

5050 w/offset firebox

It covers all the bases, gas grill for week day after work when time is short. Smoker for holiday meals and when we’re craving a good ol’ smoked delicacy. It is a fine piece of cooking grill

I added the side smoker box and have smoked butts, brisket, chicken, pork belly and Meat loaf among others. Recently had to order maintenance parts, never had a problem getting or installing them

Awesome Grill

Duo 50/50 is a great setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned 2 of these and they are great for larger gatherings along with flexibility for everyday cooking. The side burner is great for “jetting” a charcoal chimney to quickly get the charcoal side up and running.

Absolutely love this combo grill!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few years ago and added the smoke box! With some minor modifications I turned the charcoal side into a fantastic stick burner! The gas side worked great and I had no complaints! Broke my heart when we moved last month and I had to leave it behind!

Great features

Best grill ever

I got mine for Father’s Day 2009. I’ve finally worn it out. I’m wanting to find another one asap.

One year in and it nearly killed us.

Here is what's left of our grill after the electronic ignition panel caught fire, spreading to the rubber/plastic wire casings, and ultimately through the electrical and gas lines. Thankfully the tank shut off or ran out before an explosion could occur. Grill was cleaned regularly and covered on a deck.

I had this grill for 5 years. I absolutely love my grill. This grill has everything one needs to prepare food in any situation. I’ve used it when the power goes out, for birthdays and holidays. It’s never failed me. Over the years I’ve had to replace somethings but the parts were easy to get on this website. It’s time to get another one and I’m going to get the same model. 10 Years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Duo 5050 with an offset for 10 years and will not grill any other way. It is a reliable setup, and I have had to do very little maintenance. And when I do have to work on it, the parts are easily ordered, and I have the grill back up and running extremely quickly. I recommend this setup to anyone interested in setting up a new pit and smoking/grilling like a pro.

I will smoke ribs on one side using the side smoker add on. I have a cast iron plate that I use on the gas side as a griddle. while the other grill is used for charcoal grilling and gas grilling.

I love the convenience of having a gas option when time is a factor, but you don't sacrifice taste with it. Most times I use the charcoal side. New to Grilling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and kids bought me a Duo for Father's Day, after months maybe a year of me doing research of what would fit my family (wife and 4 kids) best. The duo option is great for smoking ribs on charcoal side while grilling shrimp and veggies on the propane side. I added the offset smoker and bought the cover which fit beofre the smoker and after. Best Father's Day gift.

Lasted longer than I can remember!

I used to babysit the owner and CEO of Char Griller and distinctly recall having a conversation with him about my dream of owning a dual fuel grill that would last almost forever if you took good care of it! Well, he grew up and made me proud !
