Needs Improvement

Although instructions state unit is for generators exceeding 2800w, This parallel kit was recommended by manufacturer on this website for use with Champion 2500w dual fuel. The kit works fine electrically, but it obviously was not designed for the 2500w dual fuel. The mounting clamps do not fit the 2500w, so when clamping the unit hangs off the side of the generator. Good investment so far

It works great, but a little awkward setting up . But it works great.

The 100319 parralel kit was recommended by Champion for the two 2500 watt generators for an RV with 50 amp service, Seems to be well constructed, but the kit doesn't fit onto the generator handle as expected. It only attaches to the generator handle with one of the two clamp brackets. I think the 100319 kit is designed for larger generators, but will work.

Parallel Kit

I just received the parallel kit and plan to connect both of my new 3400 watt Champion Dual Fuel generators while RV camping off grid. It appears to be a good solid quality unit and I hope to get many years of use out of it. The instructions are straight forward, easy to follow and comprehend.

Extension cable

I would like to use this product but cannot put my generators closer than 7 feet. There needs to be an extension cable available.

It works

This parallel kit works well to connect two Champion 2500 inverter generators. It sits on the ground between our two generators. It would be nice if it could be stored snugly on top of one of the generators (why I marked it down one star). We used it to connect both generators so we could run the air conditioning unit on our RV.

Perfect for bigger campers

Perfect for bigger campers that need 50 amp. Two smaller units are better to move and set up than one large one. Works great

Recommend this product

I purchased 2 dual fuel inverters and needed the parallel kit to toe the 2 together. As it turns out, we had a power outage for 24 hours and this product worked flawless!

It works, however

Like all Champion products this parallel kit does work. We purchased it to link two 100478 2K inverter generators when in our RV or the occasional power outage at home. This kit appears to attach well with the larger generators but it does not fit well on the smaller 2K machines. We ultimately returned it. I hope Champion will be releasing a new model with a 30 amp RV plug and two 15 amp plugs which fit this model generator.

I would purchase this again

The only issue I had was with the 30 amp plug-in. It is a twist lock style and my new camper is not. Luckily I was able to use the 50 amp plug-in with no problems.

Hurricane backup power...

Purchased the Parallel kit so I could parallel 2 generators together, excellent feature. Would like to see the parallel kit for open frame larger generators.

Does What It's Supposed to Do

The parallel kit is well made, does what it's supposed to do, and is straightforward to set up. Although advertised on their website as the "best fit" for the Champion 100478 2000w inverter generator, there is plenty of room for improvement. Without a doubt this parallel kit was not designed with this generator in mind. Makes the link up of both my champions a breeze

Needed this to enable us to run our 15k ac on our new Jayco Eagle. This works beautifully. Start up of ac was easy. Attaching parallel kit is simple and straightforward
