WORKS GREAT FOR THE BACK END. BUT..........

Install process ok. I hade to manhandle my 100165 7500 W generator but I assembled it. This is a must have accessory if you ever want to move the generator. The problem is, once installed, you have to lift up the front end of the machine to lift the rubber vibration pads off the ground then, while maintaining the upward lift, pull the generator forward. For those of us blessed with a bad back and double hernia repair this is not good. Not good at all. This kit should replace the front rubber vib...

Somewhat easy install

Everything went on super easy, even with a full tank of gas and oil. The only issue I had was with the handle install, I had to grind down a weld bead that was preventing me from installing it flush. Aside from the extra 2 minutes spent grinding everything works perfect.

Happy to have it

I purchases the wheel kit for my generator. It makes simple work of moving my generator around the garage and my campsites. Installation was simple and straightforward. I wonder if the small metal extrusion on the handle that engages to "lift" the end of the generator is hefty enough long term, but only time will tell. Works well and I have no complaints.

A must have!

I purchased this wheel kit along with my new Champion Model 100307 3500 watt dual fuel generator. It did not come with wheels in the package. After reading reviews, it made sense to get the wheel kit. I was able to purchase along with the generator on the same day. Worked With My Champion Generator

Wheel unit is a must for the larger generators. Instructions weren't the best because where they wanted the legs installed, one of the open holes for the bolt did not exist. Wasn't a big deal as when you held it up to the area, you can clearly see they want you to re-use one of the unit mounting holes that bolts the unit to the frame. It was installed in about 5 minutes. Definitely worth buying for the larger units.

like most reviews, this product is very sturdy. i did have to remove 1 of the rubber supports that came on my 100406 generator to install the support leg that came with it. i am very happy with this product , to the point i have a potential customer to show how handy this kit is. it took appx. 25 minutes to install, but i really took my time doing it. thanks for the great product and my back thanks you! customer service is always great!!

Not exactly what I wanted but I made it fit!!! I had bought an old Chicago Power Tool generator. The axles I had threaded and drilled holes in the frame, put the threaded end through the frame on used lock nuts to hold axles in place. Mounted the handle but had to use self tapping screws to hold handle in place because frame was 1 1/4" inch round. Resting pads didn't work. No place to mount and have generator level. So, cut two pieces of bed rail and mounted those in place on frame to act as fro...

Unbelievable

The kit came one day early. Truly a 20 minute bolt on install. Unbelievable difference in moving the generator around. Buy it, makes life easier.

Great product with a weak link.

Everything in this kit works really well other than the handle design. It works alright, but isn't mounted as well as I would like and the pin that goes thru the handle that engages the frame is very weak. Mine broke and they sent me a replacement and it broke as well. I just took it to a welding shop and had it welded more solidly and its working Ok now.

Worked perfect

I had bought just the generator at first but was hard moving it around so I got the wheel kit for it and now the job is so easy to move from any place you want it. Great product.
