Bought the generator 3 days ago because of the hurricane that hit us. Been running our camper for 3 days nonstop!! It's not as loud as other brands and runs the whole 30amp camper!

This was a life saver

I purchased this generator when we had a Hurricane and were without power for numerous days. My office was down and I cranked it right up with no problem. It got me through the day at my Storage facility and I plan to hook my fridge up at my home.

started first pull out of the box....

will meet all of my electrial power needs...will use this gen set for a backup to my primary power source....also very handy and lighweight source of portable power for a small120 volt welder,and all of my power tools....skillsaws ,drills &ect....plenty of amperage.a must have item in bush alaska.....no power grid here.

Started immediately . . . !

Turned the dial to Choke, pulled the cord twice, turned it back to ON and it started right up! Instructions were simple, easy to follow, and the unit came out of the box without a scratch. I had bought it several months ago and just today took it out of the box.

Does what it claims, and great essential features

Bought the Open Frame Inverter, 4500W to use for temporary power w drop cords in an emergency. Our power is usually back on in a day or less (so far), but in an area of full canopy trees and plenty of overhead lines, storms are increasingly intense and frequent. Throughout break-in so far it does what I need it to do. Great generator

Awesome RV generator. Runs quiet and is easy to move around with the smaller size and light weight. Very happy with it!

Power in a small package

Bought this for emergency situations of power outage. Easy assembly. After prepping per instructions. Started on second pull and is vey quiet. Ran for 4 hrs under normal conditions with no issue.

We really like the generator, its very easy to use,fits very well in a storage spot in our garage,always have used Champion products before this purchase. Nice price would recommend it.

Prepared

Having just moved to the Gulf coast, I quickly realized that hurricanes and power outages could be very common. In researching for the for good dependable inverters I went with Champion. My previous camper trailer had a Champion inverter and it was very dependable and quiet. It never failed us, so I bought a Champion Model #201049 - 4500W Open Frame Inverter with CO Shield® and wheel kit. The out of box instruction were very easy to follow. Highly recommend this product.

Purchased to use for power outage. Will power refrigerator and other small appliances will no problems. Easy to start and operate.

I chose this Champion model after reviewing independent rating reports. I would recommend buying the wheel kit together with this generator and installing it first thing. When you install the support leg you will have to tilt the generator - so it's better that there is no gas or oil in the generator. The wheels and handle greatly improve positioning.

Break-in run

I bought this particular Generator for doing BBQ Competitions. First event is in a month, but I wanted to get the break-in run done and use it 1 or 2 times smoking food before hand. I ran it just over the 5 hour break-in time, I started with nothing plugged in for about 30 min than plugged in 2 extension cords and ran it for 10 min then plugged in both of my smokers but only fired up 1 of them. Once it got to temp I fired up #2 once it got to temp I added lights and ran it for 30 min than added ...

Works Great

This unit is very easy to setup out of the box not requiring a single tool. The unit started immediately and even has a very easy to read digital display in high and low light.

Lost power due to storm, save my freezer full of food

Easy instructions, easy start. Lost power due to a storm and saved my perishables in the freezer and powered my sump pump in the basement. Feel like a good product to have on hand just in case you have a storm.

I would recommend this product

Provides enough power for my travel trailer when electricity is not available. I like the weight, could be a bit more quiet. Good overall value.
