Sturdy Generator

I bought this generator to power a travel trailer. I have no issues with Boondocking/dry camping, but this particular trip was over a month long and I wanted the option of having power if needed. It worked great for our needs. My only concern was that it was a little louder than I hoped for.

Perfect All Around Size

I upgrades from a smaller "other" brand because it wouldn't power my 13,500 BTU AC on a recently acquired camper. This one does. I also have a generator transfer box in my home with only select appliances and lighting wired in. This generator lets me run a few more things at once than the old 1800w. I like its light weight and low noise level. Its going on its first camping trip this weekend.

Great Product, Highly Recommend!

We bought this product to power our AC on our 32' Gibson house boat. First try to started, this generator started right up and ran our AC, hot plate and lights with no issues at all. Great product, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a l quiet, powerful generator.

Champion 3100

Great generator. Powers right up. Runs my 13500 BTU a/c on the camper with zero issues Little heavy but that's what you get if you want the power. Plenty quiet.

Nice so far

Started right up on first pull, ran through 5 hour break-in cycle fine. I'm looking forward to using it for real work soon.

I would buy again

Bought this generator mainly because of the reviews. Was looking at buying the red brand but decided to try out this champion. I'm an electrician and so far I've had plenty of power drilling out houses while the plumbers try to borrow power. This generator is very quiet even at full load.

I just bought a Winnebago. This will be great for powering the A/C in my RV.

First generator - ready for the Florida storm season

Received in damaged box by a rude FedEx driver who dropped it and ran. However, the excellent styrofoam packing saved the generator from damage. Inspected unit, and found air cleaner cover was unclipped. Secured clip. Surprised to see "2 year warranty" on box, so called Champion. Customer Support assured me that warranty is 3 years, as noted on manual included in box. Unit was manufactured in March 2017, 14 months before delivery! DRY CAMPING

I did my research and watched a bunch of videos and they kept coming back to the champion. I bought this generator to power are camper when we are dry camping. I fired it up plugged in my camper after it warmed up and what do you know it powered up everything I tried including the microwave/ 15k AC unit and electric hot water heater. I might add not all at the same time. The 3100 is pretty quiet (not honda quiet) but its also a third of the price. I would highly recommend you look into the champ...

Loved this unit saved us in a power outage

It was used to save our house from flooding and a few other things due to a 3 day power out this weekend due to a very powerful wind storm.

Very reliable generator

Only complaint was the case was broken where its screwed together. It was like that out of the box. There are more screws holding it and it doesn't effect anything so it's not a big deal. It gets used at least two times a week so far no issues.
