I found this opener easy to program. I didn't like that I had to get the ladder out to do so, my opener is about 18' up and you have to get to it just to push the 'learn' button. Would be nice not to climb up there but no big deal.

The instructions are wrong for the number of enter presses for the red/orange opener teach button. It took 4 presses to get mine to program properly.

The first sign of failure was when my wife attempted to get in using the pad and it failed her. I changed the battery, which was about six months old with little to no use, and now it failed again. Would RecommendWorked perfect. Programming done first go around. I would say most people don’t research and read all directions carefully enough. If you look up your model and get the correct remote this install and programming will be simple.

Terrible Product
Would Not RecommendWhy do you continue to sell this product? I thought by now you would have upgraded it to a reliable product. This would be my 3rd Key pad in as many years. Your number contacts wear out routinely and your signal strength is terrible. The battery compartment cover is junk and they do not stay on unless youvtape them on.

PIN Set-Up Instruction Incorrect
Would RecommendBought this today. I followed the instructions in the box to set-up the PIN and it didn't work. The Learn light just kept blinking after I followed the instructions. I decided to use the instructions written next to the Learn button on the opener and those worked. Kinda puzzled why the printed instructions did not work.

Would Not RecommendAfter my first opener lid broke I then purchased another one. It took several attempts to program and now it seems since the temp dipped below freezing the remote doesn’t open or close however it will open after repeatedly punching in the code..Very frustrating because my first one worked like a charm in any weather conditions.
