The product is generally easy to install and use, with many customers reporting it works well with their compatible garage door openers. The keypad is described as simple to program, with clear instructions, and as well-built and durable. However, some customers experienced issues with the keypad losing connection over time or having difficulty programming it to work with their specific model. The instructions were also unclear or incomplete for some users, and a few found the physical design challenging. Overall, the product works well for many customers, but compatibility and clarity of instructions can vary.

Would Not RecommendI liked the slide design of the cover and it was the only one like that. However, there’s not a “stop” or anything to keep the cover from sliding completely off the top. So I’m returning it. Even though I really don’t like flip covers, at least I don’t have to worry about them coming off.

Not great
Would Not RecommendFirst, the door sucks. The tabs are BARELY there so the cover either flys off the top or doesn't stay up unless you are super careful with it. Second, hope you never hit the wrong numbers when trying to open or close it or you magically lose your programming and it doesn't work. Have to reprogram it. Super annoying.

Worked great to supplement a KLIK-1U clicker
Would RecommendThis worked great but I used the dip switch programming instructions located on the web because the box instructions didn’t contain that detail. Used same dip switch settings previously used on a KLIK-1U clicker.

A Tip Worth Sharing
Would RecommendAfter 15 months I had to change the battery, then went through the process to reprogram the keypad. After several attempts, it would not work, and I was ready to toss it. Decided to take the keypad off the garage wall completely. I reprogrammed the keypad as I stood below the learning button--it worked on the first try. Screwed it back to the wall outside the garage door, and all is good. The keypad cannot be too far from the learning button while reprogramming.
Do not recommend
Would Not RecommendMine lasted 15 months. Thought the battery was going bad, but after installing a new one, and following the programming instructions, could not get it to work. No point in calling customer service as the one-year warranty is over. What a waste.

Love This Opener
Would RecommendInstallation was super easy. Read paper instructions twice, watched on-line twice, dry ran instuctions twice, easy-peasy. I have this same Chamberlain opener on another building. It's worked flawlessly for 19 years through snow storms and hot days. I'm confident this opener will work just as well.

Easy, effective...and did I mention easy,
Would RecommendEvrrything required in the box and very clear instructions. Paired with my door opener on the first try. Easy, wireless installation that was complete in 15 minutes (with a 10 year old helping).

Reliable Remote
Would RecommendBought my first unit in 2005. It finally gave out in 2022. Not bad for an outdoor product in coastal South Carolina. The instructions don't show how to program an old opener with dip switches. Would have been nice if they had been included. I thought this opener would control multiple doors, but I cannot find any instructions that would confirm. I thought my old one would control at least 2 doors.
