Once open it works great.

It works. But the cover is difficult to open. It must be slid up to open and it does not slide up without great effort. My wife is not happy. Her car is in the garage.

Invalidates all other remotes

Constructed well. Fortunately it uses a standard 9v battery instead of some "unique" thing you have to shop around for. That's probably the good stuff that I can think of. BLAST NABBIT, this thing doesn't have a LEARN capability! To use, you have to re-LEARN your opener to THIS remote. So... as soon as you do that, your other remotes are invalidated. If any of your remotes are older, you may have to just throw them in the trash. Big "ugh".

It works.

At first, some difficulty opening unit as it would not slide open. OK after working it a bit. Screws for mounting difficult to reach. Works good once it was all done.

Great garage door key pad

This garage key pad is great. Connected effortlessly to my garage door opener. Works well and was super easy to install. About 15 minutes.

Works three out of four times

My keypad has not aged well. It only accepts my code seemingly three out of four attempts. It is incredibly frustrating.

This was a gift!

Great Garage Door Opener Keypad. I bought this for my boyfriend because it was universal and was advertised as easy to program. He programed the keypad and installed outside of his garage door within 15 minutes. We are going back to Lowes and install the same garage door opener keypad at my house.

Tried for over an hour to get this keypad to program to my garage door opener with no luck. I tried a different manufacturer's key pad, and it worked the first try.

Easy To Set Up

Easy set up out of the box. I had it working in 10 min. or so. My only Cons are that the cover doesn't slide easy, don't know how a child or elderly person could move it up. Also same problem with battery cover (It needs to be removed in order to get to screw hole for mounting the unit) Other then that, it works fantastically.

Extremely low quality.

Opening the battery compartment is very difficult. Finally got it Open but now it won't fully close again. The top cover that slide wouldn't even come off when I opened the package.

Easy to Use and Set Up

This worked great with our 1996 Sears Craftsman Garage door opener. The only issue we have had with it is that it is easy to mess up the code. We had a house sitter that was used to using the "#" key as enter instead of "0". This completely reset the opener. My dad just did the same thing. Both times, I have had to reprogram the opener. This is my only complaint about this product. Everything else is great!
