No more Pixma printer 4 me

Don't buy it! Very slow as a printer! Takes too long to play with Wi-Fi connection setup! (and you need to do it almost on the regular basis) Ink display not correct. Multiple page scanner feeds deforming pages! After just a week vacations (lost power to my house) just spent about 2 and a half hours and still not communicating with my desktop PC.

Unreliable and incredibly frustrating

Even something as simple as printing ONE PAGE OF PAPER can be too complex for this printer at times. It says "please wait momentarily" endlessly even though it's connected to strong wifi, has full ink, and is only being asked to print one page. This printer has a mind of its own and often decides not to work. Honestly, it's a waste of money in our experience- what's the point of a PRINTER that won't PRINT?!?!

Terrible product and worse return policies

Gott it up. And running finally. Quite a feet in a n d of itself . I used it twice then it keeps coming up ink cartridges improperly installed...install ink cartridges properly. And do everything they say to do but to no avail. I had bought 4 xl ink cartridges with it and now I have no printer and aton of bink. I don't recommend buying this. The refund is you. Can bring hi back only if it is in the original packaging and it has to be broken before you open the package. Figure that one out!

This printer is no good. I got it in the summer of 2024. I have bought ink 3 times since then cause it keeps telling me I"m out of ink. And still doesn't work.I have tried everything It Tells me and it says I'm not connected to WiFi. With the money I have spent on ink I could have bought a more expensive and better working printer.

It is always offline when I need to print documents. I have to trouble shoot this every time I need it. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT RECOMMEND

A compact home office look -uses too much ink and not enough printing

I bought this about 6 months ago. I do not do a lot of printing, already I am needing to buy a third black ink cartridge. I had had good longevity of my previous PIXMA's but I'm questioning this one

Not great!

We bought this printer amd within a month it stopped working. I feel the ink doesn't last long either. Everytime I think I get it figured out it messes up again.

Nothing but problems with canon printers. I’m on my second one because the first one needed to be replaced. It was under warranty and they could not figure out why it kept jamming. They’re slow, they’re clunky, they’r loud, There is no back light on the little display screen so you cannot see anything that is popping up such as errors or whatever and the list goes on… The website and customer support are no better. The website always lagging and spinning and support just doesn’t exist. They will...

Perfect so far for what we need

Found this printer to be incredibly easy to set up using my phone. It then quickly connected with other iOS and ChromeOS devices. Appreciate that it does not waste paper and ink printing test pages.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER

I bought this printer 2 months ago (Oct 2024) and have found it to be the most difficult to operate printer. While I am NOT a senior, nor do I have limited computer skills, in fact, they are excellent, I totally concur with the other reviews regarding non-intuitive functionality and about the online manual which is absolutely useless. I've wasted an hour so far trying to scan a few photos. Have had limited success scanning the photos with my phone, but the app is limited to only certain photo fo...

Preferred my previous CANON, but it died of old age

Prints very slowly, compared with my previous printer (PIXMA MX452), and uses up more ink more quickly. Other than that, okay so far, though so far I've only used it to print, copy, and scan (not to fax). And it's more compact than the MX452, which is a plus.

Unhappy with printer.

Almost new printer. It stops working because of a paper jam. There is NO paper jam.

Goes to sleep, stays asleep.

Overall, not a bad printer for the price. HOWEVER, it goes to sleep and none of wireless devices can access the printer until I physically turn it on. Not very convenient at all.

Awful!

I hate it. Color ink ended after 4 PRINTED PAGES. Black ink lasted 12 pages. That’s insane!

Great Backup Printer

It is ann inkjet printer so you get what you pay for. I have changed the cartridges 5 times over the last 2 years but havent had any issues with the printer.
