We love it

I bought this for myself for a birthday present and I couldn’t be any more pleased. We cook regularly on it and it works very well. The surface heats evenly and holds heat without any struggle. I ended up purchasing a stainless top and front shelf—those items are very handy for outside cooking. I would recommend this griddle to anyone in the market

Flat top griddle

The FTG 600 is an awesome unit. We love loading it up with delicious meals. Even with all the chaos in the world we received it in a timely manner. Thank You Camp Chef!!

Flat top grill is wonderful

Easy to put together and to ready for grilling. Large griddle top allowed several different items to be cooked at the same time. Husband loves it!

Bad quality metal, rusts quickly

First, you can cook the best, crispiest bacon on the griddle. That's until the griddle gets uneven, and rusts. It got rain on it once and that was it. The entire top rusted. We then put it away, wasn't sure to throw it out or try to clean it. Was too heavy to deal with trying to bring back to store. By now, we have owned the grill for less than 2 years, the burners rusted, and now 2 of the burners have holes. Solid griddle

Probably have used this 10 days straight. It’s been awesome to be able to create awesome meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and leave the stove spotless. Smash burgers, eggs, bacon, crepes, pancakes, bacon wrapped hotdogs, arepas, finishing of reverse seared steaks... list goes on and on. Solid product.

New horizons

I purchased this flat top after watching a comparison on YouTube. I’m glad I watched the video on YouTube because I’m very happy with the camp chef and I love the stainless steel contribution and grease draining system. I’m having a great the grilling on it and it makes the best dinners ever. The camp chef is a great addition to my toy box of cooking tii I y’all and compliments my Big Green Egg.

Does not work as advertised

I purchased my ftg600 Feb 23, 2020. I is now April 28, approximately 3 months and I am experiencing problems. At first it was great. I have only used the griddle to cook on. I really love cooking on the griddle. However, it fails to light as it should. I have to try several times for any burner to light, and am never sure it it has lit or not. Decent for the most part but.....

Purchased in June of 2019 and I as satisfied with everything except that anything in the grease trap would flow away from the end with the grease tray. I always thought that it was truly a problem with adjustment and kept working with it until I finally figured out the cooktop was warped. I contacted support in March and told them when the unit was purchased and description of the problem. I was told that it is due to in-proper heating and cooling of the steel. Researching paid off

Received my Camp Chef FTG600 for fathers day in 2019. I had done a considerable amount of research into the other popular brands, read reviews on manufacturers websites, facebook groups and word of mouth from other flat top owners. Flat top griddle

Love it but...What is the best way/easiest way to clean the griddle, seems to be a pain in the neck to clean it every time. Seems to rust very easily, how do you prevent that?

Disappointed

The craftsmanship overall is nice, however do your self a favor and keep looking. On the very first use( as outlined in manual) Medium to Medium High the flat top has a deflection of more than 1”. Very disappointed in the quality of the flat top. Happy to provide photo to anyone considering this unit.

Griddle better than a grill

I bought this griddle in early June and I love it. I have cooked chicken, vegetables, hamburgers, and eggs. Waiting for family cookout on the 4th of July.

Burns everything

I bought this grill a year ago and have tried all ways to cook on it and it continues to flare up and burn everything. It takes continued attention to grill every meal.VERY DISAPOINTED WILL BE SERTING IT OUT ON THE CURB SOON IF ANYONE WANTS IT!

Love our new grill! Easy to put together. We I was a bit confused about the seasoning but followed the youtube videos hehehe....and had burgers at 1030 pm. =)

Awesome Flat Top & Beer = Good Times & Memories

I finally gave in and purchased the Camp Chef FTG600 after months of comparing several manufacturer's products. Excellent product and has been fun to cook on. Wish it would've came with Camp Chef's spatula's, scraper and bottles. The store did not carry them and I had to purchase a competitors :( Beware: the smell that will permeate throughout the neighborhood will have people stopping by to see what's going on. Parts

Good griddle so far. I have only used it once as I am waiting for missing and manufactured defective part replacement. Will get a better idea of this once the parts show up.

Great addition to my Off set Smoker!

I use my off set smoker for everything but a griddle on lump wood charcoal is a challenge! I finally pulled the trigger and bought the FT600 this weekend. Fantastic piece of cooking gear, the quality of the components are really impressive. The ignitors and controls are very responsive, and the griddle is solid. Breakfast, Street Tacos, 4 lbs of sausage and ground beef + mixed veggies for a Sheppard's Pie, and Red Snapper Filets in the first weekend! This thing is amazing! Now all I need to...
