Nice but inefficiently laid out.

The dishwasher is very quiet and it's nice looking. Where it fall short I in the way the inside is organized. On the bottom rack, there is a big space between the front and rear portions that doesn't seem to fit anything. It is very inefficient in the way it is laid out. Also, I don't understand the silverware holder. the screens at the to of each section makes it difficult to add/remove flatware.

Smart Design

We're extremely happy with our new Cafe dishwasher. It's beautifully designed and looks great with our other Cafe appliances. The smart features, interior lighting and extremely quiet operation make it an exceptional dishwasher for the price. We would highly recommend this dishwasher for anyone looking for a high end dishwasher at a reasonable price.

We are very happy with our Cafe dishwasher because it is so quiet, and the rack features allow us to load more odd shape dishes and utensils. Our dishes more out more dryer than our old one.

BEWARE!

I purchased the Cafe dishwasher with the black matte finish and the front panel stained within one week of use. The marks look like water stains and appear milky white. I have no idea what product or products contributed but I see there are others online with similar complaints. Nothing seems to remove the staining and it is not covered by the warranty and it is deemed "cosmetic." I contend it is a manufacturing defect. I am no longer buying the Cafe refrigerator!!!! BEWARE!

Great product

This is the second Cafe' dishwasher we had one in our previous house. After it was installed, I questioned why it wasn't running. The installer said it was. It is so quiet you don't know it's running. The Efficiency, Features, and performance are outstanding. We love all our Cafe' appliances.

Do not recommend this product and neither does GE

We have been using our GE Cafe dishwasher for about a year. The heating element and the control board both went out and it was 450 to repair it. It took 6 weeks to get the parts. We were told the dishwasher was running again when the tech finished (I was working at the time and wasn’t present), but the first time it was turned on a leak error came on. It has been almost a week and they have not yet returned to fix the leak that was created during the repair. The repair tech told us that GE makes...

Works great

Works much better than my previous dishwasher. Love the third rack and individual squirters for glasses and flatware on third rack.

Don’t be fooled by the beauty

Our 3rd dishwasher in 3 years because they all break. Don’t be fooled by the beauty. It’s a piece of crap. The top panel just stops working. Right now mine is broken with a puddle of stinky water in the bottom of it.

Garbage dishwasher stopped after 2 years

No, nope NO. Cafe dishwashers are garbage. 2 years and out. Prior to this, I had a Maytag that had lasted 30’years. This piece of crap? Two years. GE is FRAUD. DO NOT buy! .

Disappointed

A little over 3 years into our purchases and I am beyond frustrated with my three GE Cafe appliances. We have had issues with our induction double oven (fixed and under warranty), our microwave/hood handle's finish peeled off (not under warranty just after 3 years but, they replaced). This time it's our dishwasher. We always rinse dishes well before they go in and dishes almost always have some food remnants after running. I can live with that but, the main issue is that almost every few weeks...

Stylish design

My only reservation is the lack of top drawer dedicated to silverware. Very quite. I have to lean down to try and hear that the it's working.

POORLY ENGINEERED.

THE PRODUCT IS PRETTY, BUT FLIMSY and poorly designed. My contractor, who has done my last 4 remodels beautifully, could not make it look finished or totally immobile. I am not happy.

Great Unit

We never thought we'd like a light inside our dishwasher, what a great feature! This unit is very quiet. It cleans well and in about half the time of our old unit. The extra jets and rack design on the inside are spectacular.

Great features

The dishwasher works well and I’m happy with it so far. Very quiet, efficient and actually dries dishes! Only negative I noticed is top rack seems a little flimsy so extra cautious pulling it out.

Loving it

[Employee of cafe_appliances] After a month of use, I am truly loving this dishwasher. All dishes have come out clean and completely dry! It is super quite, I literally had to look to see if it was running. I never thought a dishwasher needed lights until I used this one, yes, it is a super nice feature.

GE Cafe line is Heartbreaking

Our dishwasher, refridgerator, and dual oven range were all installed in 2022. Every single appliance has given us a problem. Dishwasher - currently turns off 2-3 minutes after starting it. The bottom oven of my range does not heat to correct temp (even after replacing themometer), and our fridge had a compressor go out in the first year. This set cost us THOUSANDS and I regret the purchase wholeheartedly. Find another brand, don't buy it because its pretty.

New and improved

Better since the redesign. The previous version leaked but this new version has no condensation issues. The first model would condensate on the underside of the counter top and then leak onto the floor. This new version has no issues. Runs quietly and cleans the dishes like a pro! We love the interior lighting!!
