Great Idea, Poor Perfomance

I bought this as a mobile option for my cabinetry business. We often travel across clay and gravel to jobsites. In three months, the wheels broke. I returned it, got another base, and two months later, it broke again. If you work in a shop with polished concrete floors, this is an awesome set up. If you work on real construction sites, pass on this.

A must have if you work in a big building..

I work in a big building and when you need some hand tools its great to have something that rolls and can carry the tools and you have a extra hand to open doors and the tray in the top helps with little things.. Then you can add to it is a bonus in it self.. Then you can keep stuff off the floor its been my table and even step up but please dont stand on it.. Thanks Craftsman for ...

Craftsman Tool Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tool box to keep on my back deck for storage. It has been outside in all type of Illinois weather and has withstood it, still looking new. It is large enough for all of my yard tools, pots, and several bags of dirt for this year's pot planting. I am so happy with how it is so strong and still beautiful enough to have on my deck when company comes to sit outside and visit this year.

Very handy holds quite a bit of essential tools.

Broke easily. Not that rough and tumble. Close it after use.

good box

Use it for extra 6ah batteries and charger and surprise , it stacks with my dewalt tool boxes. Minor differences but the shape and side latches totally interact. Thank you Stanley- Black and Decker.

seems like a fairly decent storage box.

I picked up two of these boxes after trying some cheap HF ammo boxes to store hitch reciever parts, and straps for my tow rig. Handles on both top and side are comfortable and seem fairly stought. I have a 20,000 receiver hitch in one of these and its a lot easier to move and carry from the bed of the truck into the shop when not in use. I just wish there had been an option of all black as the red really stands out.

Sturdy too box

I had a specific need and this turned out to be exactly what I needed, Extremely sturdy. I wouldn't be surprised if it was water tight but I don't plan to test that part.

Cordless Drill Case

I purchased this to use as a top box for craftman versastack stackable boxes, & Because I use my drills the most I turned it into a Dewalt 20v cordless drill case and permanently mounted my Dewalt drill battery charger on the inside side wall of the case and drilled a hole big enough to run the power cord out of the side. Both my impact drill and regular drill fit nicely along with all my drill attachments both batteries and my 25 ft measuring tape and 2 step bits.

bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. He uses it at work and loves it. It was like watching a kid at Christmas when he opened it!!!!

It fit in the truck great, and then it broke..

I got this 3 pice set of boxes and really liked them for about 5 months. At that point, the handle broke at the pivot point on the lid sheared the plastic right off, and then it lost a wheel and it is damaged beyond being able to keep using. as the center of the plastic wheel cracked. I will get it exchanged, but I will not put it back on the road for work because it has proven it will fail with the loads I typically carry.

Good size for most tools. Quality made in the USA.

Great quality for the price and more affordable than competing systems. American made.

locking tool boxes

When I say locking, you can stack them and they lock together. Locking for me is great, since I use them in my boat.
